This story want to be just a simple lightearthed serie, I think it is great for what it is and has really interesting…
ZonSaifah is the shit. I always find myself smiling in their scenes. While the other couple were two hot models in the heat for each other, these two balances the series out by being the cutesy, fluffy, funny, gay panicy and somewhat innocent couple to make us all smile.
Like I know people always say "Consistency is Key" but consistent bad editing and fast pacing just won't do it for this series T.T I'm slowly losing interest in Tutor and Fighter as their story is going way too fast. As for Zon and Saifah, I'm loving the pace their love story is going in so far. Less screen time might've actually worked to their advantage. Everything is going slowly and sweet. In a way it compliments the Tutor Fighter plot but I just really hope they slow it down a bit. There's only one thing I'm asking of the Zon and Saifah storyline for me to be completely satisfied. I hope that at some point in the series, either one of them (or both who knows?) realize that they've had a feeling for the other ever since and the reason behind it.
I'm so sad. This series is honestly starting to disappoint me T.T The first issue I had with this series was the…
Okay now time to comment on what happened on episode 5
1) Zon and Saifah was so cute in the first scene <3 2) I don't understand why Tutor was still looking for a job when P'Kae has already found him one. 3) The scene where Tutor was getting ready for his first day at work (the one where he, at one point, said Hello in different languages) was so cringey lol 4) Tutor and Fighter's bickering scenes were the best in this episode. Bickery couples might be this series signature lol 5) I bursted out laughing when Natee said "Eotteokkhae"! He is such a goof. 6) Speaking of Natee, there was a scene where he has blood on his nose but the place of the blood kept changing everytime the camera focused on him. Ruined the continuity I tell you. 7) The shirtless scene was H.O.T 8) The kiss. Periodt.
I'm so sad. This series is honestly starting to disappoint me T.T The first issue I had with this series was the subs. However, I let it slide because I told myself that I can just read between the lines. Then come episode 4, I had another issue. The pacing is so off. Everything is just moving so fast. Now, after episode 5, another issue for me with this series is the way it is edited and cut. It feels like they didn't even bother watching the episode before airing it. Episode 5 would've been cuter if the editing wasn't so much of a mess.
Poor subs, fast pacing, and lazy editing. When you put that all together it kinda makes the series poorly executed and it's sad
Actually the series is indeed a little bit confusing. It's not that Zon liked him suddenly, but something happened…
Woah. I guess the "date" scene was suppose to be more than what I thought it was. The execution, then, is bad :( I hope they won't mess this up anymore and confuse us further
I'm so confused with everything atm lol. Zon and Saifah are really cute in this episode though I feel like things escalated pretty quickly. During the first few minutes they were so irked by each other. Then after just one scene they were already having feelings for each other and even went on a faux date. From then on they started being cutesy with each other. Is it wrong for me to wish that they'd give us something more profound than just that guitar scene to really let this ship sail? Like I wished they only started having feelings for each other because one of them saw a good trait of the other or something idk. Aside from better subtitles, I think this series needs better pacing.
I've just finished Episode 1. I kinda like it and kinda don't. It made me laugh at times and the casts' chemistry is just so good in this one. Zon and Zol's interactions have got to be my favorite so far. They're so much like a real life brother and sister. Zon's acting tends to come off as forced sometimes but whenever he's acting with Zol everything just comes out natural. The acting of Zol's might have helped. She's honestly the best actress so far and for that reason has become my favorite character so far.
However, I would have to agree with another fan here. The plot is confusing. I don't know what was going on at times and the poorly worded out subs really don't help much. There was a point in the episode where Day asked Tutor when he and Fight would get back together. That came out of nowhere so I'm confused. Where they together together before all this? Ugh I just really wished there'd be better subs for this huhuhu
I hope it gets better from episode 2 because I was really looking forward to this.
It was good but kinda draggy in the middle. I love Arisa, Nahm (who, btw, looks like Kristen Stewart that its crazy), May, Ying, Ice (lol came to me as a suprise), Kraam (ofc), Joey, Nat, Gun, Krit, and Jack. I enjoyed watching it but the ending frustrated me. Not that it wasn't good but because now I have to wait for who knows how many months to see the resumption of the story. I'm really intrigued and I do hope they release S2 soon huhuhu it was a mistake watching this so soon huhuhuhu
There were moments later on when I enjoyed the interaction between the characters but I could not ignore what…
You actually saved me from wasting my time on this. I too was hoping they'd explain a few things about what happened or at least they'd make Tharn suffer the consequences even just for a bit but I guess that wouldn't really happen, right?
Yo, Kate this review inspired me to write my first! I swear I have the same sentiments as you do. They should really have trigger warnings for this series. I dropped this series a long time ago after Episode 2. It bothered me so much and disgusted me that people actually enjoyed and would even defend Tharn's actions. I decided to give this another try but the bathroom scene in Episode 3 just threw me off. I decided to drop this series for reals.
I almost skipped this series because someone said it lacked plot. In my opinion, this actually has a more complex plot than Sotus S and I love that series!
I love the domesticity of Pete and Kao's relationship. You can really feel that they've been together for quite some time already but it didn't feel like they were in a 3-year relationship. I don't know why it felt that way but it does. Despite that, it was still quite enjoyable! SunMork story arc was enjoyable too. I love the transition of them not liking each other and then loving each other.
Every character in this series, except Non and his dad of course, is lovable. This series truly is recommendable.
P.S: The violin intro reminded me of Dream High HAHAHAHA
Lol it was a good thing I anticipated the worst. If I didn't I might've been so much more devastated. This was just too much to handle. Even after anticipating... IT'S TOO PAINFUL!!! I have a pain on my chest because of this. This was just bad for my heart T.T but nevertheless, I loved it. Definitely a good follow up to its predecessor, Trapped.
I'm currently on Ep 5 but I just have to go here and say that I have a crush on Hsiang Hao Ting and Sun Bo's Friend who is not a twin ❤ I think his name is Gao Qun in this series? Anyway he is just visually pleasing! I just had to look him up! His name is Shi Cheng Hao(石承鎬) but I can't find any of his social media accounts and have only seen a couple of videos of him. I want to see more of him do any of you know where T.T?
PS: i think he'll do great as an actor so long as he keeps on improving his craft <3
