Actually, I think I see what the issue is. On your watchlist it doesn't update, but when you go on your profile [in latest updates], it shows the updated episode, correct?

I just tried it out with adding a new show on my list, and it showed up immediately. Can you try it again?

Strange. Are you positive that your password or email is correct?

Make sure that the first letter of your password isn't getting capitalized. Apparently phones do that automatically sometimes, which is leading to this issue.
