Anyone interested in an explanation bout the stone and no sleeping during the night thing, look at my answer to Murielle's post. ;)

I don't speak mandarin, so I'm drawing on my literary experience when explaining (plus some of the subtitles made sense):

When she was young, she entered some kind of room that had that shiny stone in it. That stone reacted to her and merged with her (the scene of the stone flying into her forehead). So from then on, she can't sleep during the night because whatever she dreams during the night will come true in real life. Therefore she only sleeps during the day (Though the drama is not sticking to it 100%, smh.). In case she slept at night, dreamt something and then tries to change the thing happening in real life, she will suffer consequenses. She changed her accidental death by assasination and therefore was changed into a mouse (the consequences might be according to chinese zodiac or something. Remember the scene in the bridal carriage with prince Shen and her maid looking at some kind of circle?)

So far I only got to ep 2. I got the patience to wait for proper subs. XD

It is a Happy Ending: no one dies and they get married. Lots and lots of sweet romance, asian style. XD

Regarding the censoring: China always had a no go policy regarding LGBTQ on telly. In recent years they made the rules even stricter but I would have to google the explicit rules.

Satisfying ending... hm... relationship-wise YES, plot-wise... maybe yes, they left the topic of upcoming war open-ended. I recommend reading the novel. ;)

btw, the english subs on dramacool and alike are taken from the mangotv app. so same bad quality. but still worth a laugh or ten. XD

it's the legend of a female character so why use the male poster as main... ?_?

I just couldn't connect with the characters. First half good and then it just went flat. Half the questions went unanswered or surprise relevations were just that and didn't really contribute to rest of plot.
Won't rewatch. It's simply meh.

I don't understand why none of the sub groups haven taken on this series... Usually you can find 2 to 3 versions of the same series but no such thing for this series... smh

I wonder too. His acting partner in "Love is more than a Word" and "Till Death tear us apart", Yan Zidong, has a role in "Nothing but Thirty", a current drama. But no news of him, sadly. :(

If you mean based on historical figures, then no. It's a xinxia with heaven and demon clan. So basically fantasy costume drama.

Synopsis doesn't mention the most important part of the plot: The two sisters get swapped. So the "evil" one marries into heavenly family and the "good" one into demon family.

Though there is no need for being better than Untamed. Just being alike regarding quality is plenty enough. If it were similar in plot or otherwise, I guess I would just rewatch Untamed. XD

Heaven Official is from the same author as Untamed so I m guessin it will be a success. I m currently reading the novel/manhua. I really hope they also do a drama of one more novel of the author: Scum Villains self-saving system. It is sarcastic and funny at the same time. *__*

They did replace the second ML with a FL in some other BL novel adaptation. Don't ask me for the title, I'm bad with names. And I saw the shit storm that started on the net. -_-

The thing is, most c-dramas have a rebirth/travel to another world theme. At least all the manhua/novel adaptions. What I'm looking for is an unconventional take on the whole thing. Like what they did in season 2 of TEL. Don't want to give spoilers. ;)
Though I'll have a look at your list of dramas, thx. Romance of Tiger and Rose is one of my favourites of 2020 so far. Love the ML. :D
