I just couldn't connect with the characters. First half good and then it just went flat. Half the questions went unanswered or surprise relevations were just that and didn't really contribute to rest of plot. Won't rewatch. It's simply meh.

cinnabar is a bright red mineral, also used as pigment. so cinnabar banquet is a red banquet meaning wedding banquet. i m also not sure about that last phrase but i interpret as: you need more than just a wedding banquet to marry someone. you need love, respect, etc. or: to committ yourself to a single person for the rest of your life more than just a formal ceremony is needed.
