God dammit. Went to watch the episode and no subtitles on YT!
I am not watching SDOC on a small phone screen where you miss all the dancing. Where you can't read the subtitles because they are so small and I am not holding my phone for hours! I like watching it on my TV via the YT app
I've been watching this show for years now, not just for the Caprains but for the dancers as well. You get excited when they come back.
I won't be watching it this year as I am not prepared to watch it via small screen or on my TV without subs. The bonding of the people is half what I love and without subs I have no idea what is going on.
Be interesting to see if they do take a hit on viewership. In all honesty I don't think they will care
Puen said to him that he wanted Talays real information to fill in the form so they could leave evidence of them being in the alternative world.
The whole conversation they have in the bookstore while filling out the form is about their information in their world and Puen still won't tell Talay anything about himself other than they are about the same age because he wouldn't even confirm his birthday exactly other than to say Talay is a few months older.
The same director is involved with Oh! My Sunshine Night i swear the guy might have some agenda against BL...
I did not know that but actually it makes sense. When I was watching Oh! My Sunshine Night the other day I was thinking how it has the same pacing issues as Unforgotten Night and also the same sort of character direction.
In all honesty I can't decide if it is. Ohm and Fluke are good but there is something missing from the script. It's just not holding my attention like a series of theirs normally does.
Also it seems to be developing that whole ' the two main characters argue for no reason' thing. Like one says something and the other immediately takes offence even if they were getting on 2 seconds ago.
So maybe yes give it ago but be prepared to realise you may want to drop it.
Anybody else think he looks a little like Copter Panuwat Kerdthongtavee from Gen Y or am I crazy?
Yes was coming to say the same thing. Just watched Close Friend 1 & 2 and I kept getting distracted because I was constantly thinking they need to play brothers in a series.
I thought they actually had some similar features, I think their mouths are similar and their general face shape. I don't know how else to describe it but they feel the same as well!
It's blow my mind, that years and years of experienced in bl prooductions, enlarging the budget from none to a…
I think the Thai BL industry suffers from 'Mass production' in that they saw it was something that was popular and now they just push out series after series. Which I guess means they don't always have the time to make sure the script is the best, they just want to get stuff out.
You know a couple of episodes in and it's not bad but it's not good either. It's kind of sat at the 'Meh' stage for me. I'm watching it and will continue to watch it but I'm not worried about what day the episode releases like other shows. Episode 2 was released 2 days ago and I've only just watched it. (I guess this one wasn't as racey by YouTube Standards as it remains on the site unlike Ep 1!)
To be honest it's pretty much on par with what I expected from the trailer. I saw people getting super hyped from the trailer and I did wonder if I was missing something and had we watched the same trailer because I wasn't getting the hype.
I'm interested in the storyline although the pacing is slightly off, lots of posing with hands in pockets and 'mafia' music as well :) But I liked Ton in Y-Destiny so lets see how he does and of course Sammy my beloved is here to!
You know what, I love this! It's just a bunch of guys doing silly things to make you laugh. And sometimes that is all you really need.
I love the fact you can see quite a few parts where they were obviously improvising and so it's just them being themselves, the over acting in parts for the comedy value is also gold.
Of the 6 guys I know all of them except Kacha, I've never watched his shows but I am sold on him and I'll go back to watch them. His 'straight guy' routine to the rest of the comedy is brilliant.
Release Date is 29 June on iQIYI I guess we will find out if it's geoblocked then :) But Wabi Sabi don't normally Geoblock. Guess it will be up to iQIYI
Can I just say I am loving this discussion? I had started to avoid MDL but have enjoyed reading everybody's posts.
I'm with you on that. I had notifications from this post and actually dreaded coming to read them as so much of the comment section has been negative. But this thread had a rather nice back and forth

Talay is in Tess's body
I picked it up from Cutie Pie and Don't Say No. It's a bit like the Red House that's in everything!

Zani and Noon are so funny!
