she is a leading cultivator with determination and direction. the accidental boom boom set both her cultivation…
I don’t think I have said anything about the actress . I don’t know why you added that comment . I have only praised her character. It's just with the storyline shown in the drama I don’t feel any connection with Han Li and Nangong Wan .
Nangong Wan isn’t a bad character at all. I’m not sure how she’s portrayed in the novel or donghua, but in the drama, she comes across as strong, intelligent, and mature. That said, the reason why many of us still struggle to feel a connection between her and Han Li is because — at least so far — there hasn’t been much emotional development between them. Aside from that one night, they’ve barely shared any meaningful screen time. No deep conversations, no shared journey, nothing that really builds a foundation for a relationship. Han Li himself hasn’t shown any lingering thoughts about her, and still believes she might try to kill him. In contrast, his interactions with other fl characters have felt more layered and engaging. And considering she’s meant to be the main wife, it’s surprising how little there is to their story so far. Their connection feels shallow not because of her character, but because the writing hasn’t given them enough shared space or emotional depth. With only a few episodes left, I’m really not sure how much they’ll be able to show in terms of relationships. I honestly don’t think Han Li will get married in this adaptation . It feels more likely they’ll end the drama with him reaching a significant cultivation level rather than focusing on romance .
Mnet really messed things up this season. They went from planning to debut two groups to just one, and now no one knows who to vote for . The final lineup is definitely going to shock people whether it’s in a good way or a bad way, only time will tell.
The hate toward Chu Guihong(the second male lead) honestly feels unnecessary. Up until now, I don't think he's done anything truly wrong — especially if we try to see things from his perspective. I will not talk about the Empress’s death as it's more like a misunderstanding btw him and NH .
1. It was the female lead’s father** who first warned Chu Guihong about **Li Shiliu** and his group, saying they seemed suspicious. So naturally, Guihong had reasons to be wary.
2. CG first encounter with Li Shiliu wasn’t friendly at all. He realized they were eyeing his forging technique , something that made their intentions seem threatening.
3. In the second encounter, things looked even more questionable — he finds his fiancée spending time with Li Shiliu who, as far as Guihong knows, is connected to Nan Heng the enemy. From his point of view, this is not something to overlook. Even his sword was changed there .
Even during the assassination attempt, when he later discovered that it wasn’t really LS , his initial reaction was reasonable. Anyone would have doubts in his position.
Yes, CG may come across as overly righteous or stern, but his concerns are grounded in facts. He, too, is being misled, just like the others he’s reacting based on the information available to him, and honestly, it’s not unreasonable.
