Some people are saying how calling FL selfish is hatred and how much she is getting hate. But isn't FL really selfish?What's wrong with accepting the fact? Some people don't accept fl's criticsim, but they blatantly call ml a thief even though he did it only for the sake of FL and her parents. I accept what ml did is a mistake, but I definitely will not accept calling him a thief. Some people are saying ml is granted more grace etc etc. I think he deserves that, because he is the one putting more effort in their relationship and doing everything for her and her family. I think these days ml sacrificing everything is green flag. But does that apply to fl's? No, they can't sacrifice anything for the ml. If they ever do, people call her spineless, not self respecting etc. I don't fl's to sacrifice anything, I just want them to put the equal effort on love and care just as ml's do. I have seen far less series or novels where FL puts equal or more efforts. It is honestly tiring having every drama follow the same trope of ml's love is greater than fl's love. Now I better not come to mdl anymore because I am really afraid people will come on me. But still, it is what I feel.

So, ml has a job before the accident, at the mill or something. Did he lose that job since he cannot attend while being hospitalised? If it is so, does the mill has the right to fire him?Only the fl's factory is responsible? So, doesn't anyone provide him job? I mean only himself tried for his job. So, no one is responsible for his job? Sorry, i guess i have too many questions. Although i have read so many novels based on that era, i still can't understand some things. What i know is this drama doesn't show the difficulties faced by that people in the era. The difficulties are not getting into college, other things. It is about how so many people can't even get to eat their fill and the difficulties of educated youths or the people who used to live much worse because of re education or something.

Ml is definitely the most selfless person in this series. He deserves everything . Arthur really did a good job at playing the role. The way ml always remembers food is so cute even though he forgets everything. The fl has her motives, which made me not like her first that much, but i slowly understood her. Whenever the short haired girl comes to the screen, i really want to slap her. So, that actress did well. The ex gf doesn't deserve the college seat. In the novel, fl is really selfish that i dropped the novel. I am glad they made the fl more likeable here. While she has her motives, she is not outright selfish, which is common and acceptable. Sun Qian gave 100% to her role.

Exactly my thoughts. I know she has her problems. But i can't like her character too. Because i know if ml is in place of her sister, he will never do that to his sister. He will take of her no matter what. Even though fl also has her goals, she is willing to sacrifice her choice for her brother who is good to her. But ml's sister straight off cut her ties her to her parents and even more decisive to send her brother to a not so good place just so she can keep her position in university. I know dreams are important, but i can't accept them at the cost of family relationships.

I can understand you. Unfortunately, this novel is a sad one. Morelike it is really bittersweet type novel. But i still really like this novel. As for the drama based on this, it depends on who the cast are. If i find the cast unsuitable, then i won't bother watching this since this novel is special to me. But it seems like there is still a very long way before it can be made into a series.

Just from a walk and his expression, i could deduce this. This shows just how good of an actor he is. And some people in the comment section are still saying things like he can't act or he can only act roles like lovely runner or he will depend on his co stars bla bla bla nonsense. In every film and drama, he immerse himself into the role very well, be it in 20th century girl, strong girl nam soon, or lovely runner etc. Don't just degrade his acting blindly. This drama is not even released yet.

One thing i observed is this series has so many supporting characters and this is only 13 ep. I don't know how many more characters will come. I guess they spent all their money on this so they didn't have any budget to film in abroad for the fl and her cousin's scene😆 honestly that one scene looked somewhat lame.
