To be honest, Jiang Mu in the novel and the drama are so different. Mumu in the novel is so passive . I don't think her love is as strong as Jin Zhao. As far as i remember, she didn't even thought of going back to find the situation like in the drama. In the drama, they portrayed Jiang Mu's grief really well. Her, constantly thinking of Jin Zhao and finally going back to their place for their unfulfilled promise. Glad they made me feel Jiang Mu loved Jin Zhao in the drama.

They only thought from the fl's point of view. And that is also expected since they haven't shown ml's struggles at all. But from reading the novel, i know how hard life has been on him. Jin Zhao, why is he so unlucky?? He has to get into danger just to prove his innocence. And the relieved smile on his face along with tears when he learned the case has been solved. He looked like he had just been free from a heavy burden and felt much lighter. He Yu really conveyed the emotion well. I know some people are dissatisfied with him for avoiding mumu. But think about his circumstances. From the childhood, he has been in someone else's home where people didn't like him. So even if he is a child himself, he helped take care of mumu to make himself useful and not to be a burden. After they went to thailand, he again worked himself for his family and for his sister's operation. He has always been a person who takes everything on himself, not liking to trouble others. It is also because of his environment from childhood and because of how adult's in his life failed him. If he has a normal care as a kid from fl's parents, he wouldn't have become the person he is now, always putting others first and not liking to trouble and rely on others. This is what i felt after reading the novel and watching the drama.

Esther Yu made me cry along with her. First just being lifeless and then suddenly breaking down. I felt her pain. I don't know what everyone criteria for a good actress is, but for me as long as they make me feel the emotions along with them, that is enough. And the ost also made the scene more impactful. The singer is one of my favourite.

Honestly, i also felt so unfair for Jin Zhao. Jiang Mu as a lover didn't do enough for him. It is always him burdening himself alone. And as for their parents, they don't even deserve to be his parents. I wondered how her dad can say so easily to not contact his daughter when ml got himself in the mess because of his 2nd daughter's operation money. Of it weren't for that, considering his capabilities how would have just done any part time job while studying which is just enough to support himself and his studies.

I also think Jin Zhao is too miserable. Her dad doesn't want her to marry a disabled person even though ml is also like his son. When i read that part in the novel, i was like both dad and mom are too cruel. And about fl contacting him, after in canada she knows ml cut off contacts so she just resents him and doesn't try to find out the reason, which makes me wonder why doesn't she do anything at all? After that her life in canada is good and she meets other men and tries to date them, but she can't forget Jin Zhao and thinks he is the best. I don't know if drama will have this element. I think it is best if it is not.

It is actually because she sees him after the accident, and ml seems fine. Actually he has his leg amputated but he doesn't tell her because he doesn't her to be stuck between her mom and him which will make her worry. So, she goes to Canada for her mom and he doesn't contact her because of his problem and also fl's dad ask him not to contact her and he promises fl's dad, so they drift apart. This is all according to novel.

This is the one of the first series i have watched and the only korean series i have rewatched many times and laugh so hard like it is my first time watching. Although i am so embarassed at some scenes that i even cover my screen, it is still the best. Also, i think i am in the minority who supports ml from the start. I love love 2ml here but i still am the team Suho, because ml doesn't love fl any less than 2ml and the most important for me is that their feelings are mutual. So, yeah, always team Suho.
