Legit laughed when dongju for hit by a car in ep 9 and just got up 2 minutes later. Like how does this man keep on surviving after getting beaten up every episode. Must really be a superhero
Way too much action in the 2nd season, most of it just senseless fighting. Season 1 had better and more unique action scenes, especially from si eun who has internal monologues of perfect timing and math and whatnot. Here its just, here's my pen, let me keep flinging it until i hit something
They all brought umbrellas to the fight only to throw them away instead of using them as weapons. Also, the umbrellas just disappeared after a few minutes??? None of them were seen taking theirs home at the end of the fight
just curious, why did they style Baek Su Jeong (MKY) with vest all the time. It was just accentuate how tiny she…
The vests look so boxy too. Just a rectangle without any cinch to the waist. Korean fashion usually isn't sleeveless for women but i guess they're trying something new since kayoung is known for her fashion ?
While i did like the show quite a bit, Dr. Baek really infuriated me at the beginning. He was kinda like Dr. House from the american series but lacked the charm. He only came off as egotistical and sanctimonious. Like i get you're some great prodigy of a surgeon but others are also trying their best and care about their patients, don't shame them just because they're not at your level yet or are hindered by their circumstances and lack of power in a big hospital. It doesn't mean they don't care about saving lives as much as you do. Not everyone can get away with doing whatever they want like you, Dr. Baek, most people have to suffer consequences for being so rude. Anyway, rant aside, it was a good medical drama and I'll be waiting for more seasons.
Nothing special but i guess it the only good enough drama to watch when it was airing. The others airing at the time were worse. The fl changed so fast. Like how you be hating on the man for the first 3-4 episodes then go straight to being obsessed with him at episode 5. That didn't look natural at all. The flow of it was really jarring
DNFing at episode 20. Wow can't believe something that started out so strong can become such a mess so fast. Episode 15, 16 were unbearble to watch. The fl posted that bullying comment without doing any fact check at all. That's literally the main job of a journalist, to check the facts BEFORE sharing a story unbiasedly. You cantgo around asking for the full story from people at the school after you've already done the damage, to a little kid at that. Then you expect the kid to forgive you and tell you his side of the story, after already being blamed from all sides. How infuriating!! I feel so bad for jiang yu, no one is willing to understand his pain, only scolding him for feeling his feelings. I really wanted to like this show, i was already recommending it to people when i fist started watching it but it became so depressing so fast. Now i have to hide from the people who started watching it because of my recommendation 🙃
This show needs a fantasy tag since the ml is obviously superhuman. I mean, cmon, he can punch a man through a wall?? 😂😂 Anyways, very fun though! Kinda wish they had cut down on the action a little bit in the last episode and given more time to the resolution but okay i still like it
It's good but I'm waiting for it to be great. Also how is it that both main leads were so affected by the catfish situation but can't seem to remember each other's faces? She his first love but he can't remember what she looked like? I get it for the female lead but the dude is dressed the exact same way he was back then (that rocker outfit), doesn't that bring back memories (or trauma)? But I'm willing to overlook it for the sake of the plot hehe 😅😅
I'm glad the second couple didn't end up together. The sml was way too selfish and sfl was too much of a pushover. They didn't make sense from their first scene. Like a get the tsundere thing they were trying for sml but tsunderes need to be caring without being able to express it but sijun didn't seem to care about juah at all. On the other hand, juah seemed to care way too much about sijun to the point that she lost herself for him. Like the bar owner had said "she seemed more like a mother to you than a girlfriend" he was right. Sijun always only took and juah always only gave. Her unwavering support instead of honesty seemed way too much and stifling. She raved about every song he ever made and inflated his ego to the point that he though he was really great and talented so when he couldn't get the success equivalent to that support, he spiraled even more. I felt a little bad for him but honestly the snippets of his music that were shown were really so boring idk how he could ever think he's some great musician 😅😅 Juah also has issues, most prominently her lack of boundaries once she came back into sijun's life. But her character was explored way less than sijun and only revolved around sijun, without showing us how she became a screenwriter or her family life or anything. But she was easier to sympathize with than sijun amd was also a stronger character after that 5 year gap. It was obvious that it was hard to admit for juah why she left sijun and the little things that she's couldn't speak about back then. The current juah was more vocal about how she was treated during their relationship. Anyway, i'm glad they didn't end up together since it didn't seem like they would be good for each other anyway. Their personality faults of him being too selfish and her being a pushover were still very much present. They both need to take some time for themselves and find better partners. Sijun should find someone who's willing to call him out on his bullshit and juah needs more tender love and affection and someone who supports her.
Anyway, rant aside, it was a good medical drama and I'll be waiting for more seasons.
