ik how u feel i hate xianxia ! most of them have bad cgi😭 i only watched and loved love in the clouds, but even that was famous despite the bad cgi of the cat and the dragon (background was beautiful though) . i made my bestfriend watch it too but she dropped it bcause of cgi. but but, litc is still famous and loved by a lot of people, even back from the brink👌there was another xianxia i tried, and the main thing that made me drop it is the bad acting. i think if the new show has good acting, it has a chance. i dont know the other actors but i still want hmh to be successful, so i believe in him and what he can give to his characters 😊 even if not, i will support him. i would not wish bad for any of his upcoming projects. have a good evening too hehe lets just enjoy his concert and new songs if not his dramas ok 👌

well realistically speaking theyre both famous actually and cn likes repetitive plots as all other cdramas have repetitive plots nothing new tbh 😂 (i think we should stop now before we end up angering others & i mean dont say anything bad abt other actors here)

either way just because theres no booting ceremony, i dont think the show will fail and flop. we dont know that, i have high hopes for it just like i did with kttph. people thought kttph will flop bcoz of the controversy and the hate and the lack of promotion, but it didn’t. it may not be a global hit, but i bet it could if given a chance to not be iqiyi exclusive 😆 a good, worthy show only needs a good script , great acting, and good cinematography . A booting ceremony together with the leads is not what defines a successful show (and even if they did booting, i doubt it would stabilize the fanwar— people would just make fun of hmh and his fans even more for taking the project and then vice versa everybody fight relentlessly ).

yeah i know but i never seen this much fanwar even before booting ceremony. usually it is after the show ends. and im tired wondering so i kinda just hope they wrap it up separately too but give us the posters asap 🤣🤣 I just want the posters and the cast list out and then move on. other than that theres nothing we can do. its not like we can go to china and protest. lets just enjou the little crumbs theyre giving us. even if the fanwars is not at completely at fault, i am sure it’s at least 5 or 10% of the reason

part of me thinks it’s because of both fandoms or a choice coz remember no booting ceremony.. + separate meeting with each fandoms.. Production team must be trying to avoid war coz people only know how to fight and compete their idols and compared to other casting choices, this drama is the one with the most violent reaction lol #justmyopinion
in the end all we can do is to just patiently wait and trust in them. there was a time when i was scared they were gonna do a booting ceremony together tbh i was scared each fandom would fight or attack the cast. so a part of me was glad they didnt even do booting ceremony with the main characters. and no i dont think it happens all the time. however, everyone should reflect as to why the team decided to do what they did. and that there is a consequence to every violent reaction

i disagree to people saying aimi was too young for this role… i think personally she was perfect. we cant have an older actress or an actress in her 20s playing a 17 year old xie jiayu either. it would feel unnatural or forced. aimi was perfect. it didnt feel forced . when she pulled away from wuyi, that’s exactly how she should act and she was so natural at it. some people are just horny and wants older actress so the leads can kiss, but that would take away the purity and innocence of their romance. and i disagree also that wuyi should be played by someone younger. hou minghao was also perfect. i dont think i need to elaborate on this Hahaha

i mean he was not happy when he found out rong chen zi defiled her or that she was worried about rcz 🤣 and they kind of lived under the sea, so very little mermaid 😅
