What bothers me is she loves him so much yet when the mystical beast ask her to choose, she choose to be xiyun even if it means losing her memory of her love n pain w dfqc. It does seem to me pretty off.

THE coldness of xiyun is very sudden. Like what dfqc says the premordial spirit was xlh n he grow her back. In fact xiyun as a child looks cute n naughty too.. Her sudden coldness is too sharp too sudden.. Guess it leaves a weird taste to many of us. 50% of us all love xlh from ep 1. 40% prob start liking her n her growth after she arrive at cangyan. Well there is maybe 10% still just hate her for being cute n kind. Wonder now they love her
of not as a powerful cold goddess.

Haha... U r funny about the 2 male fighting for xlh. But w xiyun the alpha female both were almost like is OK.. U can hv her.

Ep 31 I wept like mad seeing the part he carried her to sword mountain to see the sunlight. So little words from her (hand reaching to touch her stomach area to check for any injury bc she pierce herself there n tell him she love him omg), none from him but the love n heartbreak is real. My first thought is his last word ever to her was I never love you. Go away. Imagine his regret n how much he must hated himself then. And Yet till the last moment of xlh life, all she can think of is is he alright, I cannot let the black energy mess him up. If I die n he can live, so be it. It was such a easy decision for her. I really really love our xlh. Always kind, real n her love n trust for dfqc never one moment waver.

Ep32 is so heartwrenching with that dream. Poor guy just cannot accept her death. Sifu is so cool. She is like a mum, beat him up. Wow... Love u mommy.. So we were all wrong.. It is not that orchid plant w her spirit. It is the first time they met. Wow... Good twist her. Close that loop.

Highlight to Chin ep 32. Again what a gentleman. Highlight again in ep 33 his character. He is like that most clearheaded guy of the lot. I just love how level headed n gentleman he is. He is clear how much xlh n dfqc love each other. Esp xlh. He does not plot, does not scheme.. He fight for it, accept defeat that xlh love dfqc. He leave them alone, helped them when needed n do his best for her. He is really a worthy sml n a good opponent for dfqc.. To me CH is like a brother to xlh.. I love it he scold dfqc. I leave her to u n look what u hv done. It sound more like brotherly love.

I want to applaud again when he told dfqc off on ep 33..u n I love the same xlh.. What makes u think I m happy marrying this xiyun.
The guy head is so awake.. While out yuezun is truly a mess by ep 33. Poor guy.

Jun has a head of a small country feel to it. like a king. he is Di Jun. in xian xia there is always a Big emperor (Tian Di), then Di Jun is like given a certain areas to rule. Equivalent is the reflection in historical drama is Emperor is head (huang di) and his sons is usually given fiefdom and title Wang similar to king. king to their fiefdom. cause they are usually given the people there, all the income from there, they own army as well which makes them very dangerous if Emperor i s weak. Here yun zhong jun is the eldest son of the heavenly emperor (which never appear in this drama at all) and CH is the youngest son.

i think the gist is ronghao the villian hide Chidi premordial spirit in bone orchid to revive chidi cause Xlh being goddess of xilan has the inner power to heal and restore. but in this case it is like transfer the entire healing power to chidi. so if chidi is revived, xlh will be dead. now the question is why can we just remove that bracelet. very simple right.

BUT, the bone orchid is made with dfqc heartblood as explained in ep 9. only now we know if xlh doesnt feel much or feel anything for dfqc, it will be just be a ring of protection. but the interesting thing is if xlh start to develope feelings or even love dfqc, the bone orchid will grow tighter, making it hard to remove. if she love dfqc so deeply to a point of follow him in life and death kinda of love, bone orchid will be impossible to remove. if dfqc forced removal, it will kill her. if he doesnt remove it, in 10 days time chidi spirit will completely suck xlh spirit and she will die. The ONLY way now is for her to not love him and even hate him , then bracelet will loosen for xlh to remove it herself. he is running out of time cause chidi spiriti has already started transferring xlh spirit.

Even though that troupe of noble idiocracy is revived again here. the great thing is the script makes it it logical. it makes it so reasonable he has to do this. like selena says....our most powerful man in the 3 realms is desperate and powerless at this point.

I watched when I saw esther. Love her in I hv fallen in love n moonlight esp. I had great time watching her antics in both.. She makes me laughed so many times in both dramas. So her name = good Entertainment value to me. Then I saw ZLH. I like him a lot since maiden Holmes. Watched him in sparkle too. His gentle, calm demeanor on screen always attract me.
Besides I was waiting painfully for LLTG to update at that time.

But I hesitate bc Dylan wang due to miss the dragon. I was literally thinking the guy dare to challenge xianxia again after MTD.

i agree. two alphas are like two meteorites hitting each other. disastrous. it will not work. drama will be too angsty to watch too as both would not compromise.

Huang rong is my all time favourite but look she is paired w guo jin. Who is like say shang jue here.

My friend, its about yin n yang. Ppl n story need some polarisation of characters to make it work. Their values must be same but characters differences make it more interesting. To me dfqc is not cute, trusting n straightfirward but highly intelligent, scheming ml. like most jin yong mls. Zhangwuji, guo jin, qiao feng are all pretty straight minded ml with very high martial art ability. Dfqc is more like jin yong's east evil blossom island huang Yao shi (huuang rong dad n huang rong mom is portrayed as super intelligent but very kind gentle n w no martial art). Jin yong ml Don think much, so their ladies are portrayed as super intelligent n cute at the same time. Even if dfqc is matched w chidi kinda characters they will just be enemy.
My thoughts.

Saw this one too this am. They r so relaxed w one another.. Like her in his arm watching playback is the most natural thing in this world. My poor heart. Lol.

Try watching their bts n live stream esp the one on Mon with two of them together. U feel like u r watching a drama outside a drama with modern romance haha...it is hilarious, light n very sweet in some moments.. Will ease your wait.
