My thoughts on last few episodes 34 to 36. Even though I hate the amnesia troupe n him making her hate him troupe, at least it ties in with the rest of the story. Him making her hate him is necessary. There is no choice given that situation n timing.
Amnesia technically is fake.So glad I guess right that she does not want him to feel sad seeing her died once more. Bc it is her destiny to die sealing taisui.. N he almost kill himself in his dream first time he lost her. Now i think back the dream he had w her alive in a way is not totally unreal bc her premordial spirit is in him when they first kiss contact. She is in him every where like what he say in ep 36. N now he has recovered n accept xlh is dead n living with it, why let him go through it again right. So she pretend not to be xlh. So that he doesn't need to lost xlh one more time. I knew her change was too sudden too sharp too illogical. Now it makes sense.
My poor heart really wrenched seeing how lovely their love is written. She loves him yesterday today n forever. I love her words I love all humanity and I love 1 man. That is dfqc. First time she died it was for himm. Second time she is preparing to die for humanity n him too. Only if she can kill taisui then taisui will never go for dfqc body. So in line w xlh character. But my heart go to poor ch. No wonder in an interview w zlh, he himself say so sadly why xlh never for one moment consider him. All she cares for is qing cang even they r only w each other for such a short time.
I m surprised the crew din play that even if put ur spirit in 10000 orchid plant I will recognise u immediately. If dfqc say that to her when she asked him what proof he has to say xlh is xy. If our man say that I m sure she will crack n breakdown then. I think this bit of him wavering about xy is xlh is a bit weak writing. He almost gave up n go home. But his love for her in the end surpase everything. He was willing to die w taisui to keep her safe. Our Yuezun single handedly want to change her destiny. N steal a kiss from the bride right b4 her wedding.... oh boy... N she responded n that's all confimatiin he needs. This is so in line w his badass character. Our true Bking.

I think Xunfeng is triggering her until the very end or either way she unloved DFQC or sacrificed herself because of love, it's a win-win for tribe so he's willing to follow this plan.'

So is like Plan A, let CH take her away and explain the killing of her tribe. he is betting when knowing the 'truth' hatred will grow in her and reveng e take root. Plan Failed. he prob hope CH will keep her away as well. another bet. but he probably knew it was only 50-50 cause like he says CH was his good friend previously. so Plan A.2 also fail. And at that point he says she is the woman i want to marry previously. so at that point he knows he will not or cannot marry her. My burning question here is how did he know CH knows 'he killed her parents'. was he even communicating with CH.
So Plan B ask Xunfeng to imprison her. This bit i understand. he doesnt have the heart to even see her. Just get his brother to keep her lock up. Do lots of mean things like rid all her flowers give her all the things she hate. Get her to hate him. Plan Fail too. which i think is a bit dumb. he reckon XLH will let go without any explanation and hate him?? underestimate her!!! this bit here foul up too i reckon. because Xunfeng assume he will put her up as sacrificial lamb and told CH. that is what makes CH came in the war too. otherwise he would prob stay out of it for XLH sake.
Her escaping the prison with JElie help is unforseeen, that is why he told xunfeng dont let it happen again. When she appeared in front of him, he uses all the mean words and actions to get her to hate him.
Guess his final route is give in taisui. Use taisui evil energy to release his soldiers, as replacement for his hellfire for and all the while kept XLH away from it all. but that still doesnt break orchid bone. Plan go awry again when both xunfeng and xlh saw him testing the evil energy. xunfeng realise it was never to sacrifice XLH but his brother want to sacrifice himself.
i reckon the plot here is quite complicate and should take a bit longer time to explain to audience. it is rather rushed here.

Things feel too fast in ep 30 n 31 till I kind of lost pieces here n there. 4. So dfqc did not want to sacrifice her nor his warrior. On one hand he tries his best to make her hate him so that bracelet will break (but what makes him think love can go away immediately n they only hv limited time) while making a deal w taisui to use his black energy to release the soldiers n use that black energy to fight in replacement of hellfire. But I certainly would prefer they planned to root out all evilness in 3 realms. Shuiyuntian itself is a mess with so many worms like ronghao m yunzhong. N there will be no peace w that taisui.
Like siming says, we cant really choose our destiny but love is a choice!!! It explores how husband n wife love - true sharing of joy, richness, pain, burden. It cannot be either or. It has to be all the way. When u love someone truly, u Don compromise. It explores love between siblings, friends which include loyalty n trust. It shows how good it is to be open n let it go when ur love interest doesn't choose u. It doesn't damage you n everyone else. Look at how great our CH is. Accept defeat gracefully.
But THE coldness of xiyun is very sudden. Like what dfqc says the premordial spirit was xlh n he grow her back. In fact xiyun as a child looks cute n naughty too..
