Antis rated all the episodes and the whole drama way back at the start and that kept happening in waves. There is nothing we can do about it, we can't raise the score higher.

You are talking about current data. Youku and the production are taking into account the ending data when averages are being calculated.
In order to get the best option possible they need to extend this hot period and even with this extension, they can't reach the usual one for web dramas. It's the fate of all TV dramas but Youku is trying.

I explained it below, Youku needs to change the schedule because of some issues with the broadcast period. It is trying to give Zanghai the best chance at top data. Apparently due to the CCTV run and some other stuff I honestly don't understand, this period is very short so the data can't reflect it's real explosiveness. So now they are changing this in order to extend it as much as possible.

Well it's a great drama about revenge, politics and intrigue with a smattering of romance.
Honestly I could tell you so many things but if you scroll down you will see 10k comments of people discussing and guessing and arguing about the plot and who is who and crying about the harshness of it all. I think that's the best recommendation I can give. I do think a warning is due that it is not an easy drama, very, very bad things happen on screen even in episode one. But it is absolutely worth it, a masterpiece of acting, directing and writing. Hope you join us!

Yes, there is some slight romance, more towards the end now. No, they don't have many scenes together (it's increasing now) because this is a revenge drama and it does stay focused. Even the FL plot is entangled in that eventually.
