Yes, it was one year.
Really?! THAT long?! Omo. Is that historically correct? He’d go without seeing her for a year? Huh? She was fine staying that time away from him? My mind is blown.
And Thanks for answering so quickly! :)

Odd question but: Did the drama say how long our FL was living outside the palace?

Damn I wrote this comment because I had to and saw the chemistry don't people see that chemistry is subjective…
Amen! (I see them oozing with chemistry too! hah)
Wish people would just enjoy the show. And if you don't like it, stop watching. :)

That was the most hilarious scene I came across so far. They must have had a blast behind the scene. I need to rewatch! hahaha

I also got a North and south vibe from it (the failed proposal from both the book and the drama)

Oh my! Did anyone else watching episode 14, with the confrontation in the messy apartment scene, get Mr Darcy & Elizabeth Bennett vibes with QY’s misunderstanding of LM? *shiver* :)

that scene when ML saw her on the playground and immediately tried to hightail it out of there.....I cackled.
Right? Me too. His face was hilarious! ‘Oh no! Not again!’
Prior to the bar scene, the poor man was so ready to plunge his whole body into their relationship, then seeing her drunken cray-crayness, he’s super sonic speedy out of there! Hahahah That was the best scene for me!

Naaaah I think they're both in the wrong. There's no such thing as a "bigger" cheater. They both did wrong and…
Nice point you make here. All are culpable of cheating, each having a responsibility for the role they played in.

For me the chemistry is a lot better in Before we get married. Because from the get go, we know that he just wants…
I'm sorry if your view doesn't mesh with mine, but saying that I'm "personally attacking users" is rather incorrect. I've neither cussed you out, nor attacked your opinion, though I have compliment you on how singularly you think but that is NOT an attack.

For the record: I'm calling out your Devil's Advocate Game, and sharing the facts and my personal opinions. Yes, this website is for sharing opinions, discussing the drama, and that's what I have done. Sharing also includes listening well to others viewpoints, and responding in kind. So I've pointed out facts and situations to back my words. However, throughout this forum, you've repeatedly and consistently disregarded the opinions of those other than your own. You don't just "share" your position, you are pushing it on others: "She cheated bigger than her bf." "She is a cheater big time." "Fl is a cheat. Worse than SML." "It is a love triangle and the SML is a poor stupid jerk but FL and ML are the ones who did dishonest things behind the back of the SML." These are all your singular viewpoint that you've been stating repeatedly throughout this forum. Do you think all of us readers aren't aware of your position by now?

In your opinion, the FL is the one who's the more to blame, but my opinion is that it's the SML's fault to begin with. If SML hadn't cheated in the first place, the FL would still be his gf (and then we'd have no tv drama. hah). I like what @chelsea93 said earlier: "Naaaah I think they're both in the wrong. There's no such thing as a "bigger" cheater. They both did wrong and they both should have ended it." --- Nicely said!
So OneAjhussi, besides labeling the FL, the ML and the SML as all cheats, what other contributive opinions about this drama can you share with this group?

Okay, maybe in your very very very personal black & white narrowed view. You keep sticking to your one track motto. 👏🏻👍🏻
However, we have yet to see how far SML went while drunk. We were just shown a picture at a company event. What happened afterwards? Hmm. There was a conversation between him and his coworker that led me to believe that he wasn’t so innocent in his past’s fidelity. But we'll just have to continue watching.
One thing I’d like to point out, cuz you keep saying FL’s guilt is greater than the man’s: at least she ended their relationship once she knew her heart. The SML didn’t confess his guilt at all, not until it was blatantly out in the open, and still wanted to continue to marry her. However, once FL realized that SML was a dead end to be with him, she used her adult words to articulately end their relationship. “Let’s break up.”

SORRY, but age or maturity doesn't have ANYTHING to do with anger, rage or expressing emotions when being cheated on. If this Lady's man cheated on me, I'd be throwing his arse to the curb, after washing his face in bloody wine. Then I'd be getting half of his income for life. Have you ever heard of the expression, "hell hath no fury like a scorned woman"? "Grown up people" don't throw? What the fudge are you spewing?

Umm. YES, throwing wine in the face angrily IS breaking up. That is "throwing in the towel". Saying "Uncle" when your through with the pain.

What exactly defines "cheating" for those watching this drama? I quote an article in 'Brides', "Many times, it can be pretty difficult to singularly define infidelity and what's considered cheating because people think differently about what constitutes appropriate versus inappropriate behavior. And the definition of cheating can be an especially fuzzy one for married people who've skipped the adultery conversation before tying the knot. The only real way to define cheating and infidelity is if you personally feel your expectations of faithfulness have been violated. Are you feeling anger, bitterness, sadness, and betrayal as the result of questionable behavior? Say yes, and your S.O. is definitely cheating."

So...in your view, FL cheated when she hugged the other man in the rain.

The ML whom she had a residue of emotional attachment to, was involved in a severe car accident. She was distraught. So what you're saying is that she "cheated" by comforting that person, reassuring herself he's alive, and realizing she feels more for him than what she first thought. Then she goes and wraps up her business with the jerky manipulative SML.
OK. Well, that wraps up any further discussion because to YOU, that counts as cheating. But for us who's bottom lines don't consider a hug as cheating, aren't you pressing your beliefs unto us? It all boils down to each of our views.
But my question for you...why are you continuing to watch this show if it bothers you so much?

If you truly want to talk about cheating...then why watch ANY romantic drama, because...if any of those actors are married, and they have characters who kiss and hug other married actors, from your standpoint, they are all cheating. Why bother to watch any of these?

You seem to like playing the devils advocate. Sooooo....
What tells you that she stopped loving the SML? I saw a woman who seemed to be deeply committed in her long-term relationship; a teamplayer working to an end goal. She herself said that she was thinking about them for the past 10 yrs, and the sacrifices she made to meet him when they were apart. However, when she got that earth shattering evidence of him cheating amidst an urgent work crises, I saw a woman devastated and broken, yet she pulled herself together to get through the shift.
The night they met, regarding what you said 'SML acknowledged his mistake', SML says his heart only belongs to FL and to "Trust me!" but FL said, "You cheated on me 3 months before marriage. TRUST YOU?" and then wallops him in the face with a healthy dose of wine.
So throwing that awesomesauce glass of red wine was for what purpose in your eyes? Just the character throwing a tantrum? Saying 'I dislike your actions scumbucket'?
Uh...No sire.
(HMMM. Personally speaking: If I was FL, and I found out on an extremely exhausting work day that my man of 10 years, cheated on me, I'd DUMP his sorry butt with a BIG OLD GLASS OF RED ACID!!) That is what I perceived when I saw her do that. Her HEART BROKE UP with him at THAT moment. In ep. 2, when the photo in SML's hands got smashed on the floor, FL said, "Like your lie, it broke with a simple touch." That was the end of their relationship with him cheating. They were broken, like glass. You can't just glue glass back together, and now there's the aftermath of these broken pieces she has to consider - parents, marital apartment, friends, co-workers, etc. All have been neatly placed in arrangement for 10 years. What a conundrum! No wonder the chick decides to drown herself in beer! 'Decent girlfriend'? What does 'decent' have to do with her coping this angst? You're minimizing what the SML did to the FL. He BROKE her TRUST. 10 freaking years! She's not just SAD, she's devastated! Her world is split in half. Heck, bartender! Pour the woman the Top Shelf expensive crap for free! Let her forget this horrible night!

(Side point: Some comments say that FL's a private person, and I agree; I'd also say she's a reserved person. She doesn't lay all her cards out at once, bluffs her way around, and people around her perceive what are her meanings. Her EX-BF takes her non-answers as "agreement" or "submission", yet her actions say differently. That's what the ML picks up on. Ever astute, he sees what she does, how she reacts; not just what she says.)

So back to when the FL leaves the SML and goes to the bar to drown her sorrows, do you think she was LOOKING for sex? No, she wasn't. What emotionally broken WOMAN does that? (OK, let's go there: Men do that! Sexually REPRESSED irresponsible men do that.) She was drinking, playing video games, listening to music, and trying to ease her broken heart. (My assumptions, I don't think her and her ex have fully done much as of yet. In the first episode, SML was begging her to quit her job, move up the wedding, and then he "wouldn't have to stay in the hotel." That sounds like a repressed man to me, and if so, that makes his "cheating" more understandable/sensible; not that I'm condoning it. )

"to find a man and ended up in an hotel room with him playing in the shower". Maybe the writing on this drama isn't the greatest, cus if it was real life, I'd prefer to be taken to the police station if I was that drunk. hah. But since this is just a drama, kudos to the ML, making sure his "responsibility" (the bar owner entrusted her to his care) was carried out, and he didn't take advantage of the FL. Yes, he didn't leave the room right away, but at least he's decent enough to be drunk FL's listening ear, when her SML hasn't heard her loud enough. Then on top of it all, FL drunkenness' leads her to spraying him since she accuses this stranger of trying something with her. "hit you in the name of justice!" What was she, Sailor Moon? That doesn't seem like she's asking for sex, right? Was she asking for sex when she expressed her admiration for a fit body when he's taking off his wet shirt to dry it? No. Drunk-"In the name of justice" was trying to stop him from getting away from her imaginary breaking law. lol. In the end, being a horribly bad drinker, she blackens out.
So playing with a man? No. Drunken stupidity? Yes. Cheating on her part? No. Why not? Cuz FL is no-longer emotionally attached to cheater SML, she hasn't forgiven his "mistake" at THIS point in time. Even the day after, when SML tries to manipulatively evoke some 'good memories of their time together', FL tells her friend "it didn't work". Then best-gal pal wants her to meet other men so she can widen her world view of what non-duplicitous boyfriends look like. Hooray for BFFs! So up until the point that FL is emotionally manipulated into trying to patch up broken glass, as a viewer, I'd say her conscience is clear, and she continues to draw lines with the ML, even after she's wading in broken glass.
Game of seduction? o_0
She IS attracted to the ML; THEY both are clearly attracted to each other, but after FL's trying again with SML, she clearly draws lines with ML, being cold, etc. to keep them apart. I best rest my case.
