Yeah that's why it's baffling. OP said "I'm not anti" but then goes and accuses everyone else against their comments as delusional "stans." OP could have just said, "I don't think she suits the character but hope she proves otherwise" or dropping this drama as it doesn't suit my taste but instead went to bash FL just for the heck of it while mentioning their own bias. And expect the anticipating viewers to agree? Glad there's a lot of rational thinkers here who is wait, see and then comment.

She was just ok in Scent of Time and everyone love me, didn't like love me love my voice, I liked her character more from Back to the Brink. I hope she brings back that vibe in this project.

I also read parts of the novel and my interpretation was that she looked delicate and petite yet strong-willed even though she was in disguise as a man.

You said, "It's not about her but the character!!" But that's not what was written in the original post, seeing some back-peddling here. It just reads and quotes as another "pretty face no charisma nor acting skills to pull it off" Alright then, so which is it? I can see why others also think this screams as a personal attack on the actress herself. Also had brought YQ bias in the conversation, is she being bashed in the same way or worse if she is cast in a show prior to airing? Just a thought. In fairness, ZY has her limitations from the projects I've seen her in, she also seems selective in choosing them so I don't see the issue with overexposure like you mentioned "highly trafficked." You also said, "not all of us are antis," which is also equivalent to not all of us are "full-on stans" too, so that spiel is a moot point. She hasn't even shown her interpretation of this character, therefore, I reserve my comments on whether she can or cannot slay the novel's character once it's aired. It's only fair. I didn't enjoy the glory or double so I never commented on that feed as I didn't finish. You can have your grievances about her, I'm cool with constructive criticisms, but its totally unfair to spew negativity without giving her a chance to showcase in this project. If she lives up to the hype, then give her credit but if she doesn't, by all means, go right ahead and let everyone here know.

Yes I agree with you, I thought that OP sounds like an anti. Didn't even see this drama yet and already personally bashing said actress for visuals only and bad acting. Sounds unfair. Another thing is that if I don't like an actor/actress, I rather don't say anything, or say bring another actress in just for comparison's sake that they would be "better" for the role lol I am not playing director who can just cherry pick my dream cast, the annoying part is I've seen comments like these without the show being aired yet. I'd just simply not watch the show altogether rather than lose my breath than spreading negativity. All actresses go through good and bad projects. I think ZY is a solid and much improving BUT I hold any constructive criticisms only AFTER I see her performance.

Here's the thing, I don't agree with FL's hesitance but she has her reasons which she has to overcome. But that nosy busy body female intern is getting on my nerves. I see that FL is doing ML wrong but who's she suppose to lecture FL on his love life. But ML being so generous decided to gently tell her off which I thought was very gentlemen of him even though she's acting like a irrational jealous one.

Pretty much sums up about it. SML likes SFL. He does watch her flirt with ML's intern student. It appears she does feel something for him but she is saying that they were probably not fated to be together due to timing. Fact being that she dated a ton but when she became single again, he was dating another person and vice versa so it never worked out to their favor. I think they are end game eventually.

I get both sides. In retrospect on a deeper level, he's commendable to spend so much effort to help FL. But on the surface level, he is sort of seen as an anonymous stalker whom she never spoked to since school days, now watching and analyzing every detail of her life albeit with good intentions. I guess it all kind of boils down to how each person feels about it. I mean, I don't know if I'd consider him as a "general" stalker in definition with a negative connotation, but if he was a cop then I'd think it's more justifiable.

Lin Yi Shen and Xu Xiang Ya seems like the second couple. They are having problems with their relationship as the SML is putting him in the friendzone. SML crushes on her and almost quitting his job to help out with family business and SFL thinks they were not fated to be together. A cold silence between these two right now. To me, SFL is quite a difficult person, she's very short-tempered and quite a flirt.

Yeah they are giving her way too much pouty scenes whenever they main leads are together, like is the scriptwriter planning to have her as an obstacle cause I don't think she can be one to break their bond.

This drama is the best. It's so cute and fluffy. Seems like there's a bit of conflict in the upcoming teasers but I'm sure they will work it out since its a more lighthearted show. What's with the girl trainee, I get she's crushing on ML, she seems to get a lot of those scenes where she just sulks and looks unhappy so it seems innocent so far but I hope she doesn't meddle in anything.

Just predicting based on the slow pace of this show and probably a happy ending for the unfortunate FL. Hope not though.

My fear and I hope not. Probably the last 5 minutes of the last episode.

I'm so conflicted. I like the premise of the show but the pace is not so great. I like FL and ML's individual characters and so much want them to meet. It almost feels like two random strangers, where one is trying to solve a puzzle and the other does her own thing and doesn't know he exist. I've never watched a show where the main leads NEVER meet after half way through it. I also get this unique storyline where they just can't for obvious reasons, but I can't help feel my fast-forwarding at times and most likely they will never build that chemistry or probably rush through it. But then I am half way through it and still hoping that the storyline starts moving more. How should I put it? It feels like wasted potential chemistry. I hope the actor and actress collaborate in another show.

I hear you I am getting rather impatient too after the 4th episode with the flashbacks and overanalyzing of every minute detail. I wish they can somehow build a chemistry but it's rather hard if they can't physically be around each other. The only thing I think is they sort of recognize his other's existence and can barely even call themselves acquaintances.

I get where you are coming from. But I think the storyline is to focus that she's a witch. The synopsis said she loves to where pretty clothes but she's mostly wearing dull outfits here and wears a hat that covers her face so I don't get how realistic is that she can attract all men.

The visuals are and cinematography are really something. They are really quite a match. I wonder if it's both love at first sight seems like ML has it harder.

I hoped her character has any redeeming qualities but she hasn't shown any yet. She's like the worst friend and girlfriend. At least she sort of admits her true identity now which I give her some credit. Even if they separate soon, I hope she can live her life authentically and stop being fake and materialistic as she claims.
