It's a pretty toxic relationship even before it began when the rich guy forced her to become his gf to save her friend. Her character is degraded so much. I mean the rich guy can't even compare to the visuals of the ML or even the other SML, he looks like an annoying thug with control issues. I don't understand what the FL sees in him except money and power. It's like she sleeps next to him wondering where he is everyday, gets mad cause he's too busy to see her when she is sick and all he does is question where she is, who she interacts with etc. She did this all herself so she better not expect the Prof to bail her out of this mess, which I don't think he can if he ends up in jail cause of her.

Spare yourself if you haven't started to invest yourself into this messy script. At this point, I only want the Professor to be happy in the end cause he is the only sane one here. ML is the only protagonist that has been consistent and true to himself from beginning to end. His only fault is loving the FL.

She already lost it when she slapped Professor. I think someone needs to give her a good slap instead. She has the nerve to tell him what he should do and feel, no better than his ex that left him. She infuriates me too much now that I can't even look at her face on the screen.

I believe that she and the rich guy's relationship was built around materialism. He hired the best reputable doctors to save her mother at a time where she is the most vulnerable, he only sees her when he has time, she moves into his home and lives a luxurious life, he gets jealous of Prof, he tries to buy his way out of problems. To me, it isn't a natural progression cause she knows she can get it easy to get with a rich guy-dress good, no worries about paying for medical bills etc. I can see why they won't last. She literally became his doll and stunted her own growth. She became weak-minded that she forgets what ideals she alluded to with her spiel to Prof over gender equality, academics, sucess in life etc. Prof was the one who guided her in the right path but she outright dismissed him and did a 180 cause her selfish and manipulative nature overtook her. I dislike how the scriptwriter took away her innocence and turned her into an antagonist. Her so-called sister at the bar was right for calling her out saying that she will become no different from her. She'll get her wake up call soon.

I echo your sediments. I picked up cause of ML and started off liking FL until she became terrible in the last few episodes. I don't enjoy the side stories either.. This storyline really just needed 20 episodes to avoid dragging the angst. I can't re-watch this again cause FL is giving me so much grief. She had so much going for her from being village girl making it big in the city but the scriptwriter made her from being a strong hardworking young girl to a weak-minded, selfish, inconsiderate women never mind materialistic person who dates a rich arrogant guy. Professor deserves better and I truly feel sorry for him. She should give him a reason to forgive her after what's going to happen next.

I believe their feelings were mutual in the beginning but LWJ had to act cowardly like she is doing everyone a huge favor. She becomes materialistic and void of her humble/hard-working nature when she becomes involved with the rich guy. I really despise of what she has become now. I don't think she deserves true love unless she can get her redemption arc knowing what's going to happen in the next 10 episodes.

I think it has to do with how he already doesn't like that rich guy and to hear them squabble over a small private matter broadcasted to the public makes it hard hide his pent up emotions as a grieving son.

He should be very angry with her after what she put him through. Her character has become seriously unbearable to watch.

The FL is getting on my nerves now. Her actions are hurting everyone involved. I thought she was getting better but now it's going downhill. It's like she lost her focus in life and what makes her likeable in the first place. The rich guy is not for her, he's too conceited and selfish. I find her incredibly inconsiderate on the Professor's feelings. She hasn't turned done anything yet to make it seems like she deserves him in the end. So frustrating watching her wishy washy attitude.

Storyline and character development moving so slow. I really want the main leads to get together but seems like a roadblock after one another. LWJ's so-called two-faced friends are so hard to watch sometimes since they are both talking smack behind her when fighting for men. HH is so immature at being angry at her friend from "stealing" her crush away, but she also is at fault for not confessing to him either and her wrongdoing to WW, and this "WW friend" said everything is settled with bag incident but still harbors negative resentment and looks down at LWJ for being poor with her side remarks. I'm glad she found a true friend in Professor, who unconditionally loves and supports her regardless that he can't seem to confess (thanks to his shameless ex - unbelievable what did she said to a grieving son? what's wrong with this woman? thank god he shaded her and didn't leave to America). I also don't like Ye Hui, he just seems so immature and a playboy where chasing/bothering LWJ. I think the main leads are the most mature characters here that make this storyline more bearable, especially LWJ since she seems to been through it all, from being poor and finding ambition to study, to make genuine friendships and get better to put herself and her family in a better situation. Our mains leads are so compatible and have such a healthy relationship but every other side character seems to drag them down. I feel like a heartbreak is coming from the preview and I really hope they get a deserved good ending.

Update: She just renewed her contract with KeyEast. Hope she gets more good projects.

Fabulous drama. I already miss the drama and cast so much. Am shipping for SJK and JHB to maintain a good friendship after this drama and hope for more collaborations in the future, perhaps Season 2 but looks unlikely since it wrapped up so nicely. This drama kept me so hooked the entire time and made me dread during that 1 week hiatus. Now what am I do with my weekends with no Vincenzo. I will re-watch this drama again to enjoy this masterpiece all over again.

His acting is good but I think the FL is doing a superb job with her acting. When she's on screen, I can only focus on her cause she is so fun.

What a waste of a good cast. The storyline sounded interesting but the episodes get more boring each time. Its not really comedy or melodrama or love triangle. Just watching cause I started it already but what a let down. FL's acting is also very wooden she was better in Love Distance. Since it's last episode next week, I might as well see if she is ending up with anyone.

I find myself back to this thread after the drama is over. I really miss the cast. Hope they have some sort of reunion for a special episode or something. To PD nim-Make it happen, work some magic .

I love watching japanese dramas but this one did not do it for me. I sort of watched the first 2 episodes but found myself skipping parts and decided to drop it. TB is 10x better, at least for me.

Yup. I am having some serious withdrawal symptoms knowing there is nothing to look forward on Wednesdays and Thursdays

I liked it. It has its up and downs with "what the" moments but its on my re-watch list now it's over. No more goodness next week.

It was unexpected. They are now adults so I don't think it's uncomfortable at least for me. The background faded so not much to say what when on the night before.
