It could be, there are some words that aren't translated very well, like names of medicinal herbs in the first episode is one example.

It sucks to have to wait for this drama, but I think this drama is on the same level as "Word of Honor" in terms of hype so my bet is it will appear on Netflix (similar to Word of Honor") after it has been released in China.

Uhh is it just me that expected better graphics/CGI
Chinese dramas in my opinion will never compare to Western Hollywood CGI, those guys hire the best of the best and are paid the big bucks. Also Western blockbusters have very large budgets. I have yet to see a Chinese drama that can compare to something like The Avatar movie for example. TBW does have decent cinematography compared to a lot of Xianxia. You can see the backgrounds have a lot more detail in them, especially in the Flower Garden in the Valley. Many other Xianxia put focus on the "magic" trick while the backgrounds are faded out or very underrated.
