Not sure how many of you read this?https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202108/1231431.shtmlDid he do what he did because…
Right I was just thinking that Reba endorses a Japanese label. I hope he can survive this. He spent 10 years building his career. Oh BTW, isn't he Reba's classmate?

I think QJJ would never want any woman to date her ex because he's so terrible. She wouldn't wish it on her worst…
Yes that's a great analysis, she definitely a horrible ex.

I think so given it's an idol drama.

Wow I find it interesting how we all have our own interpretations. When I watched this episode, I thought she was just very competitive and money minded.

Question: does anyone else think JJ's and YT's ex's would make a great couple because of their equally narcissistic…
I think QJJ would never want any woman to date her ex because he's so terrible. She wouldn't wish it on her worst enemy. I don't feel YT's ex was that terrible, her reasons for breaking up with him (due to money) is understandable. She was also very disappointed that YT would not change for her. She realized that she still really liked him deep down so was really jealous when she found out about his relationship with QJJ.

not even close. There has been some truly monstrous CDramas in 2021
Oh Tencent just published a list of their top 5 "best selling" dramas so far: #1 Douluo Dalu (2018) #2 Sword and Brocade, #3 Legend of Fei, #4 Dating in the Kitchen #5 You Are my Glory. I do not know how they calculate "best selling"? #4 and #5 are very close. Douluo Continent is actually #10!

Oh yes this is a given, TOOL can be the most average drama and it will still get billions of views and the Peter Pans will give it perfect scores no matter what. What supportive fans the male lead has!

Are these running totals since the drama started? Legend of Fei started Dec 2020 and it's 51 episodes. Probably good to understand where the cut off date is, like 60 days after drama airs? Then some had a larger broadcast net (multiple networks and on TV). I know that one of the YouTubers I follow Marcus Sim, also separates web dramas from TV dramas. I don't know why Tencent chooses to keep certain dramas in house and some they sell to other networks.

Yes seems like there's already unconscious bias. Also KM, do you only watch the fantasy type dramas?

Now, this is a really good number. At 2.3B views, it is within striking distance of getting to 3B by this weekend.…
I definitely feel there will be a natural comparison of both dramas because they are dramas with big stars. Numbers don't say it all, as I know that the male lead on TOOL has a very dedicated fan base. For Douluo Continent, he was paired with a bunch of nobodies and it got 5.5B views?

is it so far the most popular cdrama of 2021? Seems so
I think that would be Douluo Continent...at the moment. YY and 88 have a lot of fans in south east Asia, as well as internationally. So not sure what the numbers there look like.

I think they added each other after they participated in that Chinese Party Anniversary thing around July 4th?
YY always waits until the last minute to sign. I'm really enjoying his current drama, it's amazing!

I'm sure OOL will get good view numbers, but curious how the drama content will be. These kiss scenes will be hard to top!
