Ah, if memory serves me correctly a few viewers kept rewatching that clip for research purposes.

Best couple, kissing remains KTL in 2023.

DWY was funnier, sweeter, the OST πŸ₯°

Tsundere is the most common character in rom com?

Wealthy, handsome male virgins that fall for smart, poor FL are realistic too!

πŸ˜†

I always laugh at viewers that are offended by these fictional characters, stories.

Rowan's PP dance in DWY after drinking 15 litres of water lives rent free in my head.

So do you think this is a good watch? I havent watched it yet because the rating is kinda low. Im thinking of…
Yes, it's not a rom com with ridiculous hyperbole.

The romance is very subtle, both leads are ill prepared for their emotional reactions to each other.

ML lives, learns exclusively through reading books and you will laugh at the outcomes of his results.

Binge watching it will address your questions.

There's no graphic intimacy scenes* some people literally lost their minds over age gap marriage. How dare they include historical facts! (Sarcasm)

My advice is always ignore ratings, peanut gallery reviews. (Mine included)

Look at recommendations, tags, synopsis if it matches your interest.

Watch it without any prejudices, embrace it and let it take you on it's own merits.

Don't get lost in the weeds for technical problems, errors etc.

I looked at your watchlist, we have similar scores on many shows. It was 7.5/10, which isn't low on my scale.

It wouldn't make sense for him to be a good kisser, he literally learns from reading books.
His swimming, swordplay should be hints why you don't want this book worm transformation into Casa Nova.

Both leads lost their spouses very early and had no physical intimacy?

If you remember your first kisses, it probably wasn't TV worthy either.

It's not my preference either, but I understood why they chose to depict her in an empty house.

Before the fall from grace, power they were perceived as a powerful force.

No one attended the funerals of her husband or brother.

She's now isolated from everyone in power and her remaining family.

Her faking the death of her daughter in-law is another capitulation.

She couldn't execute her because she has no one to protect her any longer.

No faction, no powerful member of court will join her and her scheming.

I have a theory that historical kdramas are always badly rated because kdrama watchers simply actually don’t…
You had online trolls negatively comment on one actor for sex scandals, Rowan for being stiff and an age gap pairing.
They literally lost their minds, oblivious to historical facts and want revisionism. ❄

Being left alone in an empty house with no future generation to manipulate is her punishment.
Everyone left: her daughter, daughter in law, grandson.

The faction opponents of the crown prince won't back a woman, her family is damaged.

Being alive, left powerless would be more painful to her.

Binge watching is always better, but its easy to make a mistake and start a current drama.

Add movies, older ones to the mix so you're not waiting for next week.

Again, you can search for cultural practices in South Korea to get a feel how Kdramas reflect reality.

Hierarchy, beauty standards are different and vary from region to region.

Use a search engine for the cultural differences.

Lol, cultural differences exist on screen and IRL.

I understand why she wasn't sharing her career change and recent relationship status change.

She's more independent, I'm not finding fault with the script and the actors who reflect what would have happened.

The behaviour was realistic in South Korea.

We should wait for another episode to unfold on the dynamics regarding acting career/ boyfriend with her family.

The parents showed up unannounced, the brother recently moved and has spotted them. They met after work and went for drinks.

She didn't plan to introduce him to her entire family, life happens.

It's normal to be uncomfortable for him meeting her entire family too, this is also a fictional drama so don't get offended by the pace of the story.
