In regards to Shuyu, I mean he professes to be her friend and cares for her as his little sister at least help the girl out if she's your friend (I personally feel). Ashile Sun, on the other hand, did not want to (obviously he loves Chang Ge) but Chang Ge told him to help Leyan and although he definitely did not want to he was willing to for Chang Ge (as she cares for Leyan ). However, I can understand Shuyu's predicament but I would hope at least someone who cares for me as a friend would come to my aid.

I feel like ever since like episode 26 and their small encounters when she left Chang An she seems is kinda attracted to hao du but she doesn't realize she has developed some attraction towards him.

so I just read that after Hao du wins the fight and they have some sweet moment as a couple (maybeeeeeee that bed scene) our girl LEYAN get's pregnant!(she's not married yet). The emperor's punishment is that Hao Du has to marry Leyan. yalll!!!! if this is true, this is so damn cute and I did not expect that after the fight. Hao du is definitely a hard worker lol
