Same here. I was shocked when I read that comment that he rejected to help her but that is was someone from this comment section said. Change Ge was willing to her man help Leyan. She was telling Ashile Sun to help Leyan and he did not want to (obviously he likes Change Ge) but was going to jump in at the request of Change Ge.

I think she meant (im guessing here) that they gave up on him as someone to rely on. At some point in the story, Chang Ge did look for Wei Shuyu when she was in the capital after her family had been killed but saw that Du Ruhui had given him that fish token. Chang Ge also stabbed him and severed all ties with Wei Shuyu. Le Yan in the upcoming episodes (spoilers ahead) ------------------ > is rejected romantically and in that brief moment in episode 42 when she is about accept her fate of being married to the grasslands Hao Du jumps in. Someone said in this comment section prior to that competition in episode 42 she had asked Shuyu for help but he rejected.

Both girls are hurt by Wei Shuyu one romantically (Le Yan) and the other due to their friendship (Chang Ge). I remember reading someone's comment with regards to Le Yan feelings for Shuyu its like puppy love.

shuyu i had hope in him but damn he wouldn't even help her? like didn't he himself say that he cares about her as a sister? like boy she's about to be wed to the grasslands. At least Ashile Sun despite not wanting to was still going to aid Leyan at the request of Change Ge. That's just cruel of Shuyu if he did reject to help her. Chang Ge was willing to let her man aid Le Yan.

From the latest subbed episodes (25 & 26) he has been shown to be remorseful for what he's done to Ashile Sun and his mother. Although, I personally wouldn't have minded if he didn't have some redeeming qualities as I have a particular soft spot for baddies D:

I couldn't have said it better @SerenityShimikaBlack. Honestly, this character Ashile She Er had so much potential (personal opinion) but they reduced him to this extremely cowardly warrior only obsessed with surpassing Ashile Sun.

I agree with you. I miss these girls together! I think we will see them together in this week's episodes. Sadly we will have to wait two weeks for 37-42 for these episodes since next we will be only be getting 31-36 subbed only D:

*SPOILERS* EPISODES 41-42? ( one of those)

Y'all so what do you all think exactly happened between episodes 30- 42 (only episodes released are up to episode 36) that Leyan is to be married to the Ashile Tribe more specially Ashile She Er! Obviously for peace between the Tang and the tribe. Where is the Emperor? He did not want to marry his daughter to the grasslands in first episodes so he sent her to Luoyang. I understand most likely he (Emperor) has no choice in the matter as it is for peace. Princess YiCheng is also in the video and watching the fight. I wonder if she is the one came up with this idea of a marriage between a tang princess and Ashile She Er? At this point it is evident and (was) that she hates the Khan and wants to her son as the successor (asap) and is also plotting against the Tang Dynasty.

It was really heartwarming to see Hao Du stand for Leyan. Also, Ashile Sun (at the request of Li Chang Ge to help her cousin) although hesitant was about to jump in. I need more scenes between these girls D:

I feel the pain D: but we are almost there! ^_^ just a few more excruciating hours. I have not indulged in watching them raw ever since they came out on duboku but DAMN it is so tempting!

I still have not watched episodes 25-30 since they are not subbed so this character (priestess) hasn't been introduced in episode 24 (where I am currently at). I would say so, however, she is something like that I've read somewhere.

Lady Jinse is definitely sly. I was watching an MV and Lady Jinse is in the background and Ashile Sun and Li Chang Ge are surrounded.

Also, Lady Jinse is the one taking care of the Empress Xiao of the Sui Dynasty and a Prince of Sui in Dingxiang. From what I've read about the Eastern Turkic Khaganate is that they did harbour Prince Yang Zhengdao and his grandmother Empress Xiao of Sui to promote conflict with the Tang Dynasty. The show is following events that occurred in history.

I just remembered that the Khan also asked her how it is going with the orphans and widows of Sui and that lady jinse responds by saying that Empress Xiao and the little Prince of Sui are well behaved under her guidance.

So maybe not a royal then as the khan is hiding the remnants of the Sui dynasty in Dingxiang. If you read on Empress Xiao her real history they were refugees from Sui and they went to live in Dingxiang. So far from what I've seen many events that occurred in real life are being followed in the show.

I had the same thought too as she is definitely dressed like a royal! Changee must have seen her face when she went inside that tent with the lesser khagan. Lady Jinse I think that was her name didn't see Changee though as she had a face veil

If so why is she dressed in a tang outfit? I saw her on a ost clip and some guards are surrounding Changee
