This sounds like a very realistically depicted drama of a very dark and dangerous time in china. No sugarcoating. The creative team is bold to do this.

Love how they’re not all cookie cutter pretty boys. We have variety. BZ us seriously hot, especially with the right eye and how sweet he is to her.

Haven’t watched it yet but from the discussions here, sounds pretty heavy, angsty, gruel some, and on edge. Is everyone who started it fully engaged?

I’m not very eloquent with words. what I mean is that it’s engaging. NIF was also a great drama. Left me bawling and a mess but the storytelling sucked me in as well.

lol… go watch Les Belles with Alan Feng to lift up your mood. But a good story will suck you in and leave you a mess.

Gosh - I’m not sure since I watched AJTY a while back and wasn’t impressed and never watched TTEOTM.

However, even after over a year since I finished AJTL (watched it while it was airing), I’m still coming back here . That tells you how much I enjoyed this drama series. Yes, there are tragedies but also beauty and love and bromance and character growth. You just grow in love with all the protagonists. The trauma does hurt - I was bawling, but such a good drama.

Loved his character. Ended up watching Les Belles with him leading. Good fun.

It’s about the journey

It’s because everyone hoped for a HE and were so invested in the growth of the bros and leads. We pretty grew in love with them all and then, BAM! It’s hard for our hearts to take in. I loved the drama myself and it took me weeks to recover. I think it would’ve been even better with maybe 10 more eps as it got choppy towards the end. Sad that they couldn’t develop that one character with the curly hair, marquis . It felt like his story was cut short in the editing room floor.
