This sounds like a very realistically depicted drama of a very dark and dangerous time in china. No sugarcoating. The creative team is bold to do this.
Havenāt watched it yet but from the discussions here, sounds pretty heavy, angsty, gruel some, and on edge. Is everyone who started it fully engaged?
lol⦠go watch Les Belles with Alan Feng to lift up your mood. But a good story will suck you in and leave you…
Iām not very eloquent with words. what I mean is that itās engaging. NIF was also a great drama. Left me bawling and a mess but the storytelling sucked me in as well.
How does this rank on the trauma scale compared to My Journey to You and Till the End of the Moon? lmao It's not…
Gosh - Iām not sure since I watched AJTY a while back and wasnāt impressed and never watched TTEOTM.
However, even after over a year since I finished AJTL (watched it while it was airing), Iām still coming back here . That tells you how much I enjoyed this drama series. Yes, there are tragedies but also beauty and love and bromance and character growth. You just grow in love with all the protagonists. The trauma does hurt - I was bawling, but such a good drama.
idk why everyone hated on this drama. I actually liked the ending and thought it made it more epic. It was a suicide…
Itās because everyone hoped for a HE and were so invested in the growth of the bros and leads. We pretty grew in love with them all and then, BAM! Itās hard for our hearts to take in. I loved the drama myself and it took me weeks to recover. I think it wouldāve been even better with maybe 10 more eps as it got choppy towards the end. Sad that they couldnāt develop that one character with the curly hair, marquis . It felt like his story was cut short in the editing room floor.
