Like 24 hrs ago I was thinking hmmmm….
So I decided to go back to ep 1 and track those scenes and they all match with the current story.

I think b.c he is a high maintenance idol actor w/ huge fan base. So any actress would be in his shadow and also, at the target of his fans if things don’t go well. We see some of it here already.

Yes, she has to work harder now, no more slacking off. And maybe, we will see her character develop and her character will become a better actress. Love the many layers of this drama.

If it’s following the script so far, this iconic scene will unfold in ep 22.

Seeing all the comments sympathizing for NH makes a lot of sense.

In ep 1, the ML’s agent complained that NH’s character wasn’t fleshed out enough and that people wouldn’t fall in love with him.

she then demanded of the 900 scenes,
‘What we’re asking is simple’
‘I want all the key moments and dramatic beats to go to the male lead
Any conflicts any crisis, he can be the one to handle it’

So here we are, seeing the scriptwriter modifying the script to meet her demands. And yes, we feel so bad for our ML. Haha.. loving his story.

She’s a nobody actress and even offered to give up her lines to the ML. she (actress char) didn’t really want to do this drama. The talk SyM had with her sister,SYT, reveals how she really isn’t interested in getting to know the people around her which is also true. Maybe things will change when she starts caring for the fleshed out NH and comes up with another idea.

Yup! Exactly, the manager wanted the ML to be more fleshed out and have more lines. So I believe what Fl (and the audience) is experiencing is a new script being edited from that meeting. Unfortualy for her, she’s basing her knowledge from the old script.

This cast has been top notch. They’re not just there to get paid $.

This reminds me of how this script (as introduced in ep 1) was lame, trophy, with poor acting. LYN’s agent complaining that he needed more lines in the script and that his character was 2 dimensional. FL was a nobody actress who only got selected because no one wanted to take on the job to act with the ML. Now, it’s proceeding to be a great drama with depth of character! So maybe the scriptwriter is modifying the original script and she’s experiencing it as it moves along although some key components remain the same. Clever … very clever.

I dunno from ep 17 , seems like he’s met the love of his life and it’s not her. 😂

Only if you like thrillers, espionage, political plotting, being at the edge of your seat, some romance, cool action and a lot of beautiful faces. No - it’s not a harem themed/focused drama. It’s actually quite sympathetic to our female wives/concubines. Also, no, there’s no hot steamy romantic scenes thus far. That’s not the focus of this drama.

Yeah - this new villian seems more formidable than the Meng family. Our girl is caught in the middle.

Just thought of something.

She really didn’t like LYN ‘s actor character at the beginning and had judged him because of his demeanor, his fan base, what others say about him.

So in this story, she’s kinda doing the same with NH’s character but now it’s forcing her to get to know him more as a person.

Maybe it’s a story for us to not judge a book by its cover.

Because this is the story she’s in. All the scenes in the original script that they converted in ep 1 has come to fruition in the exact ep as we watched this drama.

What’s crazy is if we look back at that scene - it’s basically the emperor using Song as a chess piece to battle with NH. And now NH is further weakened.
