23-24 - wow…best esps. So packed. Excellent music. Excellent story telling. She finally learns Truth about LSL =NH and is bitter towards him but drama does an excellent job exposing her stubborn views through indirect means. So good. Also action packed and political plotting is full of twists annd turns. Also funny. The whole scene with the holding off lighting the bomb was hilarious.

36- mainly focused on court case and aftermath- the relationship between HMZ and QL is left hopeful but opened- the relationship between LS and QML is sweet and warm The drama stayed true to its dreamy calm feel. The court case wasn’t as exciting as we would have liked so it felt a bit underwhelming considering all the buildup. But the show shined to bring us warm affection.

YSS and CY have relationship development. Great fun to watch and a big bittersweet. He’s such a gentleman even when he says he’s not a good guy. Hard for any woman not to fall for him.

This episode shows how plotting a death does not always go as intended. However, we really see SCC beginning to question whether TQ is as bad as she thinks he is.

This episode starts out with the bf interested in purchasing balloons from a street vendor. The narrator continues into a detailed explanation on the involved process of making balloons. Plot wise, we see a turning point for our fl she she gets sick and cannot attend an important meeting at work. The true colors and aspirations of her boss is revealed. Her bar friends express their love for her by coming over and “taking” care of her. It’s pretty humorous. There are some heartfelt moments between her and the ml as he cares for her. When she returns to work, she is told that she will need to meet with the chairman and answer his questions from the meeting while she was sick. While researching the answers, she finds a better idea than her original and want to update her plan. Her boss says no because she she’s fearful it wouldn’t be received well. She not interested in success of the project, only approval from the chairman. At the meeting, the fl must decide. Episode ends with her having dinner with her bar friends at her place. Her BF, who thinks she might me still interested in him, comes over with the balloons we see at the beginning. As he tries to reach her by phone, he sees the ML and mistook him to be her new bf. He decides to release the balloons and leave. She comes to the window to see what the ML is looking at, he points to the balloons - ‘a guy released it’, a ‘a confession of love’. Everyone looks at the balloons as it floats away… I feel like I need to rewatch this ep to understand better the message behind these balloons. May have missed a lot with the translation. However, it’s still another very well done episode. Here’s to hoping her future will be looking up like the rising balloons.

Loving the eye opening, emotional conversations between the characters. Very good acting.This includes SYM and her sister where her sister says some very wise words.The meeting between NH and Song minister where both speak with sincerity and minister Song looks like he admires NH more.The riff between CGH and NH grows further.There’s so much more.Eps 17 and 18 are so good. The acting. Pacing. Story telling. Balance of drama, action, and plotting.

We can see some interests stirring up but also hesitations. But she’s also helping him with emotional support through tough times. The director is very good at drawing out beautiful, comforting, warm supportive emotions… and it all flows so smoothly.

He’s helping her figure out her wants in life. The scenery changes from spring to fall and she’s moved in from her X but haven’t told her parents yet.

Starts out with the hospital where she’s fractured her leg. Lot of humourous scenes here.There’s also funny moments with her upgraded system at work while at her bestie’s.Ends with her retaliating on her co worker Wukong style. Hilarious.

She is stuck in her beauty filter but it’s unstable when thunder strikes. The system is upgrading at a very slow rate and she takes the day off to work. This creates some very hilarious situations with her interactions. With ML. Also more misunderstandings occur leading they to continue to have negative impression of the other.Notable funny scenes : beginning dream. Boat scene.

Bath scene was busting out hilarious. I had to rewatch it to see how it was set up. She was so funny trying to muster her courage.

-LS & QML find the rice and distributes it to the people. They also redeem the QI name at least amongst the commoners in Linfen.- qml and ls fight for their lives to escape QY’s grip.-QY goes beserk.- Ends with a showdown at Mengke house.It was fun watching QML go undercover as a merchant who mustache and beard. Cute.

34 - the mystery revealed.- qi 2nd bro sacrifices a horrific death to save his brother and LS- Qy, provincial magistrate Liu and prefecture magistrate Zhao are consumed in their obsessions as they sink further away from humanity.I love the way the director reveals the mystery and continues to build suspense for the viewers.
