And the way he even felt bad for Heyan when she reluctantly said that Xiao Jue and Shen muxue would be a great match. I can’t with that guy 😂

Same, I want to see her asking him whether he’s worthy of using her sword. Now, instead of her asking HRF if he’s worthy or not, it became a situation where Xiao Jue will be the one deciding whether she’ll be worthy of using the QingLang sword or not

I know it’s a bit late to be saying this but is anyone else annoyed with the fact that the Qinglang sword in the drama was changed into something given by Xiao Jue’s dad? It’s supposed to be something that has always been with her, something that she grew up and have a strong bond with. I still don’t get why they changed it into something given to her instead of something that was originally hers.
I was quite pissed when Xiao Jue snatched away her sword like that. Its not supposed to be something that can be taken away on a whim like that. So annoying

ohh, I always thought that love triangle only happens when one person have feelings for two people at the same time, didn’t know that one sided love also counts

Can it even count as a love triangle? Chu zhao’s feelings has always been one-sided. I think the screenwriters just wants to create more obstacles for the main leads and find a reason to pushes the wedding to the grand finale. Quite annoying, I was hoping to see their life after marriage 🫠

I kinda think otherwise, I think he did like He Yan.. not as much as Xiao Jue but he definitely harbor quite a bit of feelings for her. His feelings are not really visible in the main story but it’s quite clear in the side stories. That sadness and those longing when he spoke to her after meeting again is what makes me certain that he likes her. Eevn felt a bit bad for him tbh

Don’t forget how he casually came up with wild scenarios about what might have been going on between XJ and HY 😆

CLS is one of the reason and censorship is the other reason. Some of the scenes just didn’t pass censorship so the production team has no choice but to cut it out

He already knows Xiao Jue’s identity. He knows it since the second day of their arrival but he chose to play dumb. Don’t worry about his heir, he’s going to have a daughter and a son later on..but we probably won’t get to see his children in the drama

Chu Zhao is the sml. He can get quite annoying later on

I’d say we’re pretty lucky that we even got those bits of expression from him. Him in the novel is practically a stone

Because the side quest hasn’t really started yet. This Jiyang arc is quite interesting and one of novel readers fav plot. We’ll get to see them fight a war together in a few eps and this arc is probably when ml starts to develop more feelings for fl

And all I know is that you did not watch the drama at all. You probably only watch some short vids because if you did watch the drama then you’ll know that the reason she is ‘hiding’ behind the ML is because she was role playing as his nephew who doesn’t know any martial arts.
Don’t comment these kind of stuff about something you didn’t watch lah

Leaving everything else aside, I just hope that the drama won’t weaken He Yan’s fighting skill. I really don’t want to see her losing to Xiao Jue when it came to sword fight because it’s clear in the novel that the two are equal when it came to swordsmanship. I don’t want to see the “she’s strong but he’s even stronger” bs in the drama

Didn’t she asked her master about what happened in court after she woke up? I’m guessing that her master explained everything that has happened to her
