People who have read the script of the drama said that his character is quite significant throughout the drama so it’s only fair that some of his part was still inevitably cut off even after all the face changing. I mean.. they can’t possibly edit all his scenes with another actor’s face right? It would take too much effort and we’ll still get a flawed result. The current CLS doesn’t look much different from LMD

The drama adaptation is great so far but I was still disappointed with how they deleted Lin shuanghe’s character and just merged them with Cheng lisu instead. They could’ve just delete CLS and kept LSH since LSH was way more involved and important in the novel than CLS.
