Dropping this, while giving it a good rating overall. I mean the drama's good but I feel like I'm getting diabetes soon with how much sweet it is, way too much for me.

BORING!!! Initial episodes were very good thanks to the intriguing character of KSG.. but soon his character became…
The SOLs you mentioned are gem-class esp. last two according to me, this unfortunately doesn't come close. The main couple was annoying, the girl is okay close to real life, but still annoyed at petty things like when he slept out without saying anything, it was more like he couldn't. She was moving forward/backward in the relationship all on her own, when her expectations weren't met she was disappointed in ML, but just a while ago she was way more into him before starting a official relationship. What annoyed me the most was the male lead, just when I was getting used to him being displaying less emotions, which I think is completely realistic and normal btw, the show did a reverse 180 on his personality after the official relationship started, which is the usual puppy lovish trope, with him suddenly having a plethora of emotions.

Am i the only one who is curious about ryan??
Disclaimer: conspiracy theory.

He's a figment of her imagination she created to escape the hellish environment in her family and constant external pressure to excel.

Ep 2. Why are they giving that business woman a hard time, she is a business woman. She likes who she likes, dislikes…
These days I like the second lead more, this is one example.

Can someone explain to me, what was up with Dan ah's family thinking she was a lesbian, repeated mentions of 'outing' and the chairman says that marriage will "treat" her, which I was led to believe, then all of a sudden she likes the painter so I thought maybe bi. But was it all a ruse? As it may as well be but seems a little over the top, just to avoid marriage.

P. S. I dropped the last 2-3 episodes.

Keep watching, after sometimes JW will make the audience insane... Lmao...
I finished it, still I am against Eun o's actions, if this happened in real life, op would be left in a psychological trauma. Conversely, I really liked JW character, he's honest about his feelings and not in denial of them but still not upto stalker level as he was prepared to let her go when she said she wanted to discover herself.

Title Lovestruck in the City Spoiler
One of the things that I liked about this, is that the male lead is not in denial and honest of his feelings, unlike all other kdramas leads be like, one second they're fantasizing about their crush, then another they're like "omo, omo what am I thinking?", Sometimes they're even in complete denial like the 'Start up: 2nd lead character'. But here it was nice to see that for a change.

The female lead tho, well all's well if it ends well, but if in reality someone actually disappeared like this, when everything's going good, it'll leave a permanent scar and trauma for the other party. I mean I get she was in depression, but that still doesn't justify dragging another person down, at best she could have ended the relationship at the beach with some excuse.

But it ended fairly well, I would have been satisfied if the leads never got together too as she was on a journey to discover herself, but can't say I'm not pleased with the ending.

I'm kind of curious about the plothole about 2nd leads grandpa's letter, and his GF's life in Europe, which wasn't shown.

Lastly, I hope the writer makes it some day, and get's back together with the pe teacher somewhere down the road being an open ending, she was my fav. character here.

i have officially watched this show 10x
I would too, if I could delete my memory of me watching this. The show left such an impression that I remember each detail vividly.

Frankly, though the ending was quite decent, taking into account, I didn't actually watch it for the story but also did at the same time.

hi, is there any romance here? or pure crime/thriller?
I wouldn't call it romance though, more like puppy love.

The drama is good, nothing wrong with the story, but I had this very dull feeling that this was kind of draggy. The ending is really good though and kind of made up for the bad pacing.

Mannnn, on VIKI everyone said this is the “best drama ever” lol, what happened to this feed? This is the only…
Also don't trust VIKI ratings, 99% shows are rated 9.5+ and users rate it all 10's. I feel like users rate the show based on fresh feels after they just finished the drama, while I trust scores given by users who revise their scores after watching multiple dramas and revise their ratings relatively. But just for reference, 9.8 rated on VIKI is 9.5+ these are the ones you don't want to miss out, 9.5 is 9 ish, 9.2-9.3 is 8.5ish, 9.0 is 7.5-8ish, and I try to ignore dramas give 8.0- on VIKI as they have an even lower ratings on MDL. Also keep an eye on the user base for the drama like 10000+ users is mostly good.

It's one of my favourites too. I personally liked the story, and I was a sucker for the ending, it's bittersweet. It appears to be sweet but actually isn't totally when you put together facts shown in the show, so that did it for me for this drama to make it to top of my ratings. Honestly the age thing didn't bother me much, it's more like I didn't let it bother me, I was too engrossed in the story. But if it really bothers you don't watch it, emphasis on really. Otherwise what's the harm in giving few episodes a try for a 8+ rated drama?
On a side note: the song 'Stay with me' hits deeper when you know at the context it was played in. Man that was an emotional scene.

Except an age gap between someone who's 30 and 50 and someone who's a whole adult with a 17 year old in highschool…
Also to give another series, Lucifer is a good example. It's an excellent series. But the age thingy is there too, about the grooming part, Chloe explained it perfectly, yes Chloe was kind of born for Lucifer, but in the end it's her choice whether she wants to be with him or not.

Yes this is awfully weird but in human terms. But you are only seeing the first half. Thing is with immortals human laws don't apply, at all. And ideally they should not even date humans for that matter. But they are, so it leaves with two choices, either you turn the girl immortal too someway like in twilight, bella turned, or if they are mates for life, they aren't left with anymore options, in twilight last part Tyler, the wolf imprinted on the leads' daughter, hell she was a lot younger than the heroine is here, that was more weirder for me. Everyone wants vampire-immortal relationships to be rosy and let's say they start dating at 21. It only stays rosy till 10 years, max say or 20 yrs pushing it. As I said only looking at one half the other half is the girl's gonna keep on aging till she's 80 or 100 and he's still gonna be 21 so that's fine? If yes then you are kinda being a hypocrite, if no then I respect your opinion and immortal-mortal genres are gonna be like that accept it or ignore it.

in a bad way this is a story of a selfish man who don't want to suffer alone so he ask his bride to experience…
Just so you know, this 'selfish man', chose to be alone in the end, though not in an obvious manner. Eun tak will reincarnate only 3 more (
2 more, if we include last scene) times, so given they start dating like 18+ or 20ish, he has got only 80x3 yrs = 240 yrs in total to spend with her. Seems like a lot but it isn't actually as he will live for 1000s or 10000s of yrs staying immortal forever just to spend 240 yrs with her. And why would anyone who wants not to be alone be termed as 'selfish' it's not like he's forcing his suffering or pain on her?

What things do people don't like in this drama? No, not being a snob, honestly curious. I kind of really like this drama, actually became jung hae in's fan after this. But really this low ratings like 7.9 made me kind of mad like one spring night got 8.2 and that's a good drama too. I feel like this should be around 8.4-8.5 too. I accept I'm kind of biased towards woman older than guy relationships mainly because it's uncommon and looked down upon by many in different places. So this drama was a refreshing watch.
