Totally new K Drama Genre
UPDATE AFTER REWATCHING: I did not want to bother you again. However, I was attempted to re-watch and the series look totally different. Knowing the story, probably I was focussing on the big picture and details. The drama is well made, the acting is absolutely great. Yes, the story is a bit absurd and the father in law is a joke (why does he have to be so over???). When you simply accept or ignore these parts, the drama is great to watch.
UPDATE: I watched till the end. I cried for hours not because of the ending but because the acting was amazing and touching. LMH convinced me as a mature man, one of his best actings at the end of the show. GHJ is anyway always great. However, the story became even more confusing, too many sidelines and loose ends. And the love story could have been better told at the end. Overall, no reason to hate this show, just ignore or like it.
I also was confused by the first episodes and did not like the story, a lot about space, fertilisations. Now I understand that it was a prelude. It is about love, commitment and humanity. For a K-drama fan, the beginning was very new, therefore, somehow senseless. From Ep 8, the rhythm of K-dramas takes over and you can enjoy the romance. The love story is even stronger because of the beginning, the prelude. I watched the last few episodes several times because the dialogues are beautiful and I could focus on the actors. It is a wonderful love story, hopefully till the final episodes.
