Garbage isn't really a nice way to describe the other adaptations. Have you not watched the 1996 version, that…
Didn’t you read my comment? I said miki/yuki from INK love in tokyo and ariel/joe from ISWAK dominates. I never mentioned anything pre-ISWAK coz i haven’t seen the 96 japanese and the thai version coz i was watching other dramas so I couldn’t judge them yet.. but the korean and the latest japanese trilogy was ‘meh’ at best. Garbage might be harsh but im usually not so hard to please, i enjoy lighthearted fluffy stuff too. Idk what got you triggered about my comment, im just saying i don’t like the other adaptations of this series, that’s it. Im not even asking you to agree/disagree with me.
A lot of people will disagree with me but this was great until the romance started to take over. It's usually…
Right? I’m a bit disappointed the “evil” ministers was constantly getting outsmarted by the secretary.. hes like one guy.. they have a freaking faction. I’d love to see politics like jang ok jung or the royal gambler.
Seriously is there any manga/manhwa shortage? I mean, sure i absolutely love this series but does it need another adaptation? WILL WATCH IT but that's coz i need to erase my memory of the latest japanese movies of INK. That was brutal.
Miki/Yuki & Ariel/Joe still dominates. The rest is garbage.
Im a huge sucker for saeguks but the romance here is killing it for me. The teenage love story is getting really cringey. Ha seon completely forgot his sister's rape case and the real reason why he wanted to be the king and having all that power. He just shipped him away on an island, that's it. He's not even thinking about his sister nowor wth is happening to his family. Lol
And the queen, girl pls. How can she not suspect that it isn't the king? Not even a little hint? Unless she accepted that he's totally bipolar how can she not notice the night and day difference in his behavior?
The cliffies are a bit mild. Hopefully the writers could add more political spice.
Is it Just me Who didn't like Kim Hye Na??? :/ I know that girl is smart, poor yet ambitious and everything! But…
lol you're not alone. she started like any other poor underdog. . tenacious with a strong sense of justice. typical kdrama heroine.. until she turned insane with her revenge (which i totally get why) but she overdid it. SHE EVEN USED WOO JOO! damn..
BUT i kinda liked how the writers kept Hyena's character arc, some people get so consumed with hatred they usually never forgive those who wronged them. Other kdramas have female leads that become so forgiving after going through hell like they were some kind of saint all of a sudden. lol
Hyena's character is refreshing IMO. i didn't like how she turned out here, however, i think her death was the catalyst for Yesuh's character to improve (coz she's a total elitist spoiled bitch)
I guess we're just so used to having a single righteous lead that we completely forgot that they are humans too (although fictitious) complicated and flawed.
I finally gave in to temptation and watched up to the latest ep???? im so miserable rn i want more. This is simply superb. The last kdrama that made me anticipate the next episodes was signal and thats it.
I only noticed him when I watched Are you ready? Hey you girl! As Niimi Ritsu but im already sold. He's so adorable like a fluffy mochi #mustprotectfluffymochi????
Watched it in one sitting.. I just cant put my phone down???? its sooooo darn cute. I was surprised by their natural chemistry, even with the annoying fact that they didn't even kiss im actually willing to forgive them coz they're so adorable together????????
I have been waiting for this drama but not feeling do acting. His facial expression is tense but one dimension.…
One dimension? How can you judge his acting with just 2 episodes? He's not even on those 2 full eps. I'd rather see him acting in subdued manner than overacting.
Finally a saeguk for my boy Kyungsoo. Is it weird if i find him so cute even when he's annoyed af? Lol Idk how ppl give reviews when its only 2 eps in :/
Currently watching this.I usually postpone watching any series until its done and i have this bookmarked for a…
Finished it. I enjoyed watching but 40 eps is a bit too long for a predictable plotline and mediocre writing. Im disappointed about how it turned out. Its such a waste of wonderful talents. I see no acting hole in this.
I usually postpone watching any series until its done and i have this bookmarked for a reallyyyyyy long time. I totally forgot i was supposed to watch it. I see a lot of negative feedbacks but i won't let it deter me from enjoying this.
Im not expecting much from L's acting (or any acting idol tbh) but im honestly floored by his delivery here. Like wow, im looking forward to his future saeguk projects.
I usually don't mind remakes especially a beloved drama like this BUT i just can't bring myself to finish this movie. The actors maybe the closest to the original version however its just too bland for my taste.
WILL WATCH IT but that's coz i need to erase my memory of the latest japanese movies of INK. That was brutal.
