This show has a very cartoonish feel to it, which I adored. I mean, when the characters are up to no good they "hehehe". For people looking for a serious romance, look elsewhere.
It is a fun show. The side story lines are pretty lame, but the main romance is really cute. I love what good friends they become and how great their chemistry is.
okay I agree with you Coffee prince will always be my first and favourite. but you convinced me: I want to give…
If you skip the Cancer Girl plot line and pretend he isn't supposed to be the head of a gangster family, this show is pure camp-tastic magic. The sheer speed with which they blast through gender-bender tropes is AWESOME. By episode 3 I was wondering how they would keep up the pace! The chemistry between the two leads is really hot too XD
I don't want a HEALER remake or sequel, but I'd love to have more action romances. There are not nearly enough of those in kdramaland. I think that is one of the reasons that we Americans loved Healer so much. I feel like most shows people go bonkers over as being super original aren't that mind blowing. I am really enjoying W: Two Worlds, but it isn't exactly treading new territory story wise, just new territory in Kdramas.
I can only talk about healer since that's the only one I watched, and even tho I quite liked it, I don't think…
I thought it was really well executed and a good example of how standard tropes can still be fun and how little you need noble-idiocy-angst. Plus it is a rare treat to have a decent blend of action and romance in kdramas. But I'm with you that it doesn't need a remake. What in 10 years time, would you change to make it fresh? Nothing but the tech would change. Not sure about a Jdrama version of this story tho. But then again, if it strung all the Japanese cliches into as nice a package as Healer did the kdrama cliches, it could still be fun. I'd at least try it:)
Just stop watching at the end of episode 9. It is awesome up to there. It isn't that the ending is horrifically bad or anything, but there is a lot of unnecessary crap between 9 and 10 that doesn't do anything for the story, imho.
Still worth watching though.
