Woah that’s a lot different than the English translations in the novel. Like almost a whole different story line. I can understand a novel being mistranslated but this is completely different. In the eng version XXC and MXL (she’s the chaos pearl) already loved each other and the divine realm wanted to kill off XXC using NXY (he’s the fate of humankind). MXL begged NXY to change XXC’s fate but he refused.

Do you have a link to a better translations? I thought this one was already good.

Just finished the novel. I absolutely loved it. Hope the drama does it justice….

Make sure to watch the extra episode though. It’s the perfect conclusion for SOKP.

I know! It is freaking frustrating. These Cdrama directors are obsessed with this type of ending.

The problem is that the ending is unnecessary. Heard they changed it from the novel. And yes real life isn’t all sunshine and rainbows, but that’s the reason why people watch dramas. To escape it. Plus to watch a character endure so very much only to not have his happy ending is completely heartbreaking and makes the audience feel robbed. Had they kept the male lead the same as the novel, I would completely understand the ending.

I wouldn’t say there’s no romantic feelings for the ML. It’s more not recognizing for what it really is because in her mind, he is her brother. Her interactions with him is far more deeper than mere siblings. She just doesn’t recognizes it yet.

It’s likely what his character calls for. It’s the subtle nuances of his eyes and facial expressions that you’re probably overlooking. You should see him in Lost You Forever. He was amazing!

Omg yessss!!! He can read an instruction manual to an ikea cabinet and I would be completely entranced. In Are You the One both his and Wang Chu Ran’s voice was absolutely hypnotic.
