There are rumours of supporting cast. I don’t think we will know until the 13th…but GJ is pretty much confirmed.

Martial arts training/editing/directing/ Gong Jun himself needs to come together for it to look good. Lots of factors that will need to work. Hope it will be successful.

The highest heat index was 9001. It is very difficult to hit 10k. Those who are watching the drama seem to enjoy it. IQIYI is also prolonging the drama for several weeks. This is a good sign because that means that the show is doing better than expected and advertisers are happy. It might not be the best drama according to watches but it has been commercially successful.

It will be based on the novel. I think the author is also writing the script for this drama. The animation is not highly regarded within the fans. Hopefully the live action will be a better adaptation.

I’m also wondering how luo remembered all the steps from memory. He might have gotten it wrong somewhere and maybe yuechu will get hurt later on.

Just noticed today the episodes dropped from 38 to 36. Wonder why the extra cut while drama is still airing?
I think 36 will air and 2 will be bonus episodes. I could be completely wrong though

New drama starting on the 13th of June. Looks like I was wrong and he will most likely film the wuxia dark river drama. We will get to see him in costume again so I’m happy about that.
