This drama is sure not an idol drama. And so it may not be romance focus or popular when aired. I can understand…
He has been saying for about a year now he wants to try different more challenging roles which means he has to branch out to more serious dramas. A few of his fans were not happy that he took on this role because they want him to do costume dramas.

wait they did reshoots?
No they didn’t do reshoots they shot some scenes with the actors of all three instalments together. So all the three stories are connected.

You can add Zhou Yang Yang (South Sea Tomb),Zou Yuan Qing (Turn the right way of life) and Wang Ning (The Heart)…
I added Zou Yuan Qing but it wasn’t approved for some reason. The other two actors don’t have a mdl page I don’t think.

Only 10 out of 400? 😲 that’s so many to look through! All I know is that if an offical authority is heavily involved in a drama production then it will lean in a lot to its themes and will be less romance focused. Not sure what I prefer. I hope the filming will go smoothly.

Oh so the drama is going to be pretty serious if the Supreme Court is involved?

You are defs not alone in how you feel about the ML 😅Beginning and middle were ok and the end was weak. I enjoyed the drama overall though.

Drama will likely come out next year. They are still shooting some scenes for this drama because all 3 instalments overlap and some characters from this will appear in the second and third drama.

It is the stars next to the rating in this page and not the ones giving the reviews with the overall ratings.
When the show first started a group of GJ anti fans came into the page and wrote bad reviews/gave all 40 individual episodes the lowest score. The drama started off with a score below 8. People who were watching the show realised the drama was getting review bombed. I’m glad it’s slowly rising.

Characters in this drama have flaws. You might not like some of the actions that he takes and might find it uncomfortable as some viewers have mentioned before.
