That's a good point. Her attitude towards ES will make it hard for her when the Detective learns about it, since he loves his sister a lot. I'm just thinking - if he does marry HY, and his actual sister marries Min Guk, won't they be Uncle and niece on the in-laws side? LOL!!
Unlike others i'm not that against HY so far she has good qualities and bad qualities which is normal and she…
I think HY has had a bit of an odd family with a weird father, and having an older nephew (LOL!). I think she expressed her feelings in early episodes that she wants to have a normal happy family of her own unlike her father. This feeling of animosity and guilt towards her father makes her too possessive and eccentric. She literally feels that if she loses SW, she doesn't have hope for having the nice stable family she wants.
Her intentions are right, but her methods are become wacky with each passing episode. I will have tough time watching her heartbreak (obviously the Cop Boy will then swoon in to caress her. I actually like Cop Boy and HY better)
no i said this before but eun hyeok and min guk would be better than ha yeong and eun hyeok. i really want to…
Lol! I keep forgetting these names, I had to look it up. You mean the detective with the single dad? They are both men. Also Ha Yeong is Aunt of Min Guk. It is definitely odd but I too have an aunt younger than me whom I have to bow down to, so who am I to judge, right?
Nice drama. No real conflict, no evil villains, no revenge arc etc. Also no annoying SML. Actually the FL is pretty annoying by herself. No idea why ML likes her.
Why does the story feel like "Kokdu: Season of Deity" with a more tragic backstory? I would have enjoyed it better if this was a split personality character with present actor and past spirit switching randomly (with comedic timing). It looks like the original actor is no more and thus the first episode introducing him felt superfluous.
Why do I love Lee Se Young's smile so much? Her slightly overlapped teeth ("yaeba") used to look pretty cute when she was a kid. She has since fixed her teeth but her smile still looks kinds cute and unique. Her tear filled eyes also look lovely. Hoping to see both smiles and tears in this drama.
The movie is cool...much better produced than recent Disney movies (none of which I had patience to watch). Dialogues, costumes, plot, cinematography is pretty good.
But they did Cinderella wrong in the end. I didn't get the moral of this story. Like, the poor suffering Cinderella tried to defend herself from being ugly (aka an outcast, according to the plot) from an creepy psycho hairdresser, and landed up in prison. The ending was unexpected but meh. The crime mystery wasn't very well written, and the last 20 minutes is just a long exposé narrated by Red Riding Hood. Some kind of magic mystery or discovering a hidden past (such as connection with another tale, like the Princess's love being Snow White who was cursed to sleep) could have been more interesting.
But good effort. Japan should try more of these classic characters blended together in new mystery remakes of old tales.

Today's upcoming episode is going to be a lot of fun!!
