I don't think this series is bad per say it is just a little bland and I still find some of the moments pretty forced primarily the comedy it always feels like they are trying a little too hard however I really am enjoying TenPrem's dynamic they are very adorable together I also adore the scenes with Prem and his family. Yeah Fire and Dynamite just don't work for me I don't know if we are supposed to be endeared or what but Dynamite constantly breaking Fire's boundaries just ain't it for me im glad that Dy is at least self aware
Sing is honestly one of the most underrated actors at GMMTV his range is so good from The Gifted to Not Me all the way through to Cherry Magic I don't ever really see anyone bring him up when they talk about good actors from gmmtv.
I can understand where Jade's insecurities come from but episode 6 left me so frustrated I kept thinking Mai deserves way better because Jade was horrible to him pretty much the whole episode he needs to stop messing Mai around one minute he says there is nothing between them and the next he is jealous if Mai so much as speaks to someone else
Mhok broke my heart this episode from his jealousy over August to him realising the extent of his feelings for Day honestly Jimmy has came so far as an actor he is so so good as Mhok, I know it wasn't intentional on Day's part but all of the scenes where you can tell Mhok was feeling left out made me so upset he really does love Day so selflessly that he makes himself sad if it makes Day happy. What August did was really shitty but I can kind of see why he did it in reality pity really isn't what Day needs.
I don't know what happened but episode 5 felt so different like obviously the awkward sex scenes were still there but the tone felt so much more serious than the previous episodes not that I am complaining it might be the best episode of the series so far which probably doesn't say much but also might mean the series will get better. The story between Phop and Nuth is really fascinating. I do think this series probably has more characters than it can handle so screen presence is all over the place.
This show just needs to end the Warang and Gyo plotline asap I sometimes wonder why Gyo is even friends with her I don't think I have seen Warang be nice to her once this entire series, the only time I find Warang somewhat likeable is when she is with Prang and they only get about 3 minutes of screentime in an episode. Luktarn is such a menace lol I know Naow was a little more honest this episode but she is still hiding some stuff from Gyo and you know this is just going to backfire badly. Does anyone know if this series really is 10 episodes I know that is sometimes the default on MDL so I wondered if the episode count has been confirmed anywhere?
You know I am kind of sad there was no final confrontation scene between Pheem and Mink after everything that happened I know Kong mentioned a phone call between them but after how big of a part this story had in the show I wish we had gotten to see a final scene between them.
I don't think this series was terrible but it wasn't all that great either, I do think they had some interesting story idea's but the writing was just not great and because they had so many characters I don't think they knew how to flesh out every story well. Piploy, Satang and Phuwin were the big standouts for me probably because their stories were the ones I found the most compelling, Ohm and Film were completely wasted as actors, Kay was fine although Max was probably my least favourite character and Nani...ooof all I can say is I really hope they put him into some acting workshops before High School Frenemy because yeah he was bad in this.
Thor has been such a good villain this series like I hate Top so much, the story between Top/Kul/Max has really been one of the most interesting storylines this series because this is a gmmtv show I don't believe they will actually kill May off but that little montage or her and Pheem really got to me I love their relationship so much
I really love how respectful Prem is to Ten once he learns that Ten doesn't like physical contact I get it would probably seem to Ten a little overboard but he was really respecting Ten's boundaries, there is just something so endearing about the way Gun is portraying Prem. Not really jiving with Fire and Dynamite they are the exact opposite to TenPrem, Dy is just not respecting Fire's boundaries at all atp I really don't know why I should be rooting for them
I really think TayNew were the perfect casting for this, it fits them so well. I still can't believe after 4 years we finally have them as a ship again I really enjoyed the first episode Karan is down horrendously bad lol I guess Cherry Magic has the Vice Versa curse this year with all of those sponsors hopefully it doesn't affect the flow of the show too much because they ruined a lot of Vice Versa
Ohm has already improved so much since ABAAB he was fine in that series but you could tell he was new to acting he has came so far since then don't really know how to feel about August yet but Ohm is impressing me, if there is one thing this series is going to do and that is make me cry I need to find me someone who loves me as selflessly as Mhok loves Day <3 I need to know what the deal is with Day and Night though I am surprised actually at how little Mark has been in the series so far, is Night actually as bad as Day hints at or is it a complete misunderstanding
Why does this series have so many characters and ships it is so hard to follow sometimes each pairing hardly gets any screentime because they have so many to go between I get so lost I need a map of who has hooked up with or is hooking up with who lol Look I am aware that no sex scene in tv is real but how does this series which sold itself on sex make the sex scenes look so fake even using Only Friends as an example as it just aired to is fresh in my memory their sex scenes were much less explicit than the ones in this show but they looked 100x more real
On point there with Naow.... my question is "whats holding her back?" Does she actually have a small seed of desire…
I really don't get the feeling she has any feelings for Tan which is why I am confused why she isn't just honest, it isn't like she cheated or anything like that maybe she is just worried Gyo will be jealous or something but I am sure Gyo being jealous for a little bit is better than if she finds out and feels lied to, surely there must be alarm bells ringing for Naow that Tan is suddently trying to get close to Gyo
Honestly Naow just needs to pull the band aid off and tell Gyo about her and Luktan, they weren't a couple it was a one time thing Luktan likes her she doesn't feel the same way I think ultimately Gyo will be upset about the lack of honesty not what Naow did because she doesn't really have a right to be angry about that Luktan was so messy this episode you know she is plotting something....Warang and Prang were so cute though I can't wait to see more of them
May not being in episode 10 all that much highlights to me even more, Piploy has literally carried this entire show on her back also Kul pissing on Top absolutely deserved
without a doubt May and Pheem's relationship is the best thing about this series it is just so organic and lovely I have not been a fan of the script all that much for this show but the May and Pheem stuff is the one aspect they are getting right I don't know if this show will have them get together or stay platonic but I really don't mind either way them getting together would be great but them just staying best friends would also be great I have said before it is so rare we get decent boy/girl friendships
This series is cute but I find the humour so forced, like the actors aren't really feeling it, you know the show is fine but I really want it to be better than fine like it has it's cute moments I guess because it is offgun I want more from them
Yeah Fire and Dynamite just don't work for me I don't know if we are supposed to be endeared or what but Dynamite constantly breaking Fire's boundaries just ain't it for me im glad that Dy is at least self aware
What August did was really shitty but I can kind of see why he did it in reality pity really isn't what Day needs.
