Sometimes I feel like this series might just be airing at the perfect time for me to enjoy it, Last Twilight which I am also enjoying is so intense so this is the light relief I need perhaps on a rewatch without this circumstance I might not enjoy it so much but atm it is just a series I have fun with
I really don't know how Aof does it at the start of the year he gave us Moonlight Chicken which is probably still my series of the year and closing out this year he is giving us Last Twilight, that man never misses there is just something so real in the stories and characters he creates
I honestly think this series is gonna be a show I love to hate like I hate it but I love it at the same time, it is completely a hot mess but it grows more on me each week I just think I appreciate a series being completely unhinged it is exactly what I expect Only Friends would of been had it not been airing on gmmtv,
does anyone know why the kissing scenes on youtube are cut? I thought it looked weird and then came across the uncut scene on twitter is there a reason why they are edited on youtube?
You know I do kind of feel bad for Luktan I mean she did know about Manaow's feelings for Gyo but Naow really just nailed and bailed her pretty much then ignored her and went right back to Gyo like nothing ever happened. Does Naow have to tell Gyo about Luk I don't know it is a grey area technically they weren't a couple so it is not like Naow cheated or anything but if I was in Gyo's shoes I would probably want to know if the person who says they have feelings for me was sleeping with someone else. I have just became very attached to Gyo as a character I don't want her to get hurt :((
I knew that Mink couldn't be trusted, I wonder how much of what she told Pheem was actually true. Kul is really in the deep end isn't he I am glad despite not really liking Max he knew what Top was trying to do to him was wrong again I wish the script was better because the storyline between Kul and Top is actually pretty twisted but with a weak script it just isn't as intense this series is a bunch of really good ideas but weak execution in the script. I am glad that Film has had multiple projects this year because Wednesday Club is really wasting her.
This show is dealing with some really dark storylines, Domestic Violence, Rape, Suicide just to name a few but I just don't think the script writer is competent enough to actually tell these stories well they just feel so weak, At this point I really feel like Piploy is carrying this series on her back Satang and Phuwin are decent as well but the others damn considering they cast Ohm in the role I am surprised that Kong is such a non existent character...
Maybe it is the offgun bias in me but I adored this first episode like sure it isn't as electric as what Not Me was but it was cute I just think Gun is such a good actor that I can watch him in anything even if the script isn't perfect, very impressed with Aungpao still don't know if I am completely sold on him and Neo as a pairing with him you know being a minor and all but for a first role he is keeping up with everyone else, my only real negative is some of the humour doesn't really work for me but I find that with alot of gmmtv comedies they tend to be more misses than hits also still hilarious to watch Neo crush on LookJun after them playing toxic gay besties in Only Friends lol
Aw I really did love this series and that was a perfect ending. This was just a really cute easy to watch mini Gl, these two actresses need to return for another GL though their chemistry is so good and they are clearly very comfortable with each other the BTS after every episode shows that, I also think this would be the perfect series to start someone with if they have never watched a GL before
I feel like one of the very few people who actually enjoy this series I can easily tell why most wont like it and usually the over the top stuff just doesn't work for me but I am just having fun with this show, my big annoyance is Uea and King feel like completely different characters they do not feel like the Uea and King from Bed Friend at all
I honestly think one of the most disappointing things about this series is Sex was THE selling point of this show and the actual sex in the series is so lackluster and probably the worst thing about the show not in a purity "ew sex" kind of way but in a these are just so awkward to watch
I feel like I sound like a broken record every week but damn this show is just so good but I think it has even exceeded my expectations as to how good it actually is, Mhok is just completely gone for Day they make me so emotional something I love about this episode was you can see the small steps that Day is making to be able to accept his condition. Look was it great that Mhok got into a fight when he was supposed to be taking care of Day no but I like that it shows Mhok isn't perfect he will make mistakes and is flawed I hope this doesn't affect his friendship with Porjai though she might end up sticking by her fiance. Sea's acting though is so good I felt Day's fear throughout this episode
I wasn't totally convinced by episode 1 but episode 2 was so much better, some of the couples clearly work better and have better chemistry than others so the stories are very hit or miss depending on which couple is onscreen but the show is enjoyable, the NC scenes are still more awkward than anything else but I do like that this show is exploring different sexual relationships it is not something we ever really get in BL or even non BL drama's I actually really like the mystery aspect about what happened to Non I imagine there will be many twists before the series ends.
Got to say that episode left a really bad taste in my mouth Manaow with no context see's Gyo hug someone and her first choice was to sleep with her very intoxicated friend hmmmm I really don't know about that one, I also didn't think we would get the weird Top/Bottom obsession in a GL series but maybe I wished for to much. I want to love this series but it is all over the place like the acting and chemistry is there but man does the script need alot of work sidenote I can't believe we got Max in this it was so unexpected I had to do a double take that it was actually him
Think episode 6 is the first episode where we haven't gotten May completely obsessed with Kong all episode and she is so much more enjoyable I liked her building bridges with Tam so much more than her fixation on Kong that she has been doing I really hope these two become friends and not fight over boys, I know that it is going to end in complete disaster but Satang and the actress who plays Mink have some really good chemistry very much here for Pheem and Mink even though I would be shocked if they have any sort of happy ending
I do not trust either Pali's sister or her ex husband I think there is way more to them than what we have seen so far I do worry for May and Pheem I feel like they are going to get caught up in something bad with those two. Honestly I am so tired at this point of Tam and Pali of May and Kong of Kong and Tam like i suspected it would the whole love square story has gotten very old very fast also what does Kanya see in Pali... Kul and Mac's rivalry is so intense It can be heading nowhere good I also think this is the first time I have seen the twins play characters so unlikable lol, based on that preview for episode 6 I don't want to know what Top is wanting Kul to do Kul genuinely looks terrified of Top...
I can't believe I am so attached to these two and this series, they honestly have been able to become one of my favourite GL ships in such a short space of time. It isn't fair I feel like we haven't gotten enough time with them, honestly so sad next week is the last episode
Honestly I can't believe how obsessed I am with this series after only two episodes. JimmySea are just so good, one thing though I would love is to see more from Day's perspective I know it might be difficult to do but I feel like it would help so much to connect to Day's character if we the audience were able to see through his eyes I wonder if there might be an episode dedicated to that later on in the series, I love seeing Mark in a much more mature role him and Sea work really well as brothers I do hope Night and Day are able to mend their relationship also really enjoy Phojai and Mhok's relationship I love stories where ex's become friends and there is no jealousy or animosity between them.
First thoughts out the gate are the show looks really good they must of had a decent sized budget because it looks good and the acting is so much better than I honestly thought it would be, I actually think some of the stories are really interesting to the whole Twin swap i like a good mystery. someone being afraid of sex and it being told seriously is something I don't see all that often it feels like we are going to be getting a more twisted version of the TopMew storyline from Only Friends, my more mixed/negative stuff is some of the NC stuff felt borderline Non consensual and that was kind of awkward to watch some of the situations were a little yikes but overall a solid start to the series.
I am glad that Film has had multiple projects this year because Wednesday Club is really wasting her.
