This movie did not need to be 2 hours long I felt like there was so much happening but at the same time nothing was happening the movie just dragged so much, I think if this had been a quick 80 minute movie the experience would of been so much better, the acting didn't make things any better I think the bad acting made this movie feel even longer, it is by no means the worst movie I have ever saw but yeah it is not very good
Honestly miscommunication is probably my least favourite trope in BL's but somehow this show has made it work, they are honestly both so stupid my word
Binged this in a day what an intense ride not a flawless series by any means but very enjoyable sort of reminded me of The Society meets Lost, I just hate that it was so short and ended on such a cliffhanger I wondered why there was no season two but then read about Kraam's actor Beam tragically passing away so it makes sense why there was no continuation I imagine Covid also played apart seeing how this came out just before it, enjoyed this for what it was
I think my biggest gripe with this series will always be how much they underused their supporting cast I know Joongdunk are the leads but there was just not enough material in the Joke & Zo story to warrant them taking up 95% of the screen time I can't believe this show had actors like Guy, Pod, Arm and completely wasted them, I will also be sad if this is the only time we will see the AouBoom ship because they really got done dirty in this series, as for the series itself you know it was fine similar to SIMM if you want a nice simple watch then this will be the series for you but I probably wouldn't recommend unless you are a big fan of Joongdunk as a pairing.
Max and Nat have improved so much as actors I wasn't completely sold by them in Cutie Pie but they have been good in this from the completed wild comedy, to the serious Panic attack stuff, honestly this show is unhinged but in a good way as someone who wasn't the biggest Cutie Pie fan I am shocked at how much I am loving this series
I hope all of the people hating Book can shut up now because he is absolutely nailing it, also lowkey why does Book and Drake have that much chemistry, Only Friends really be shaking up that fixed pairing narrative, everyone's acting really reached new levels this episode with Mark and Book being the stand outs for me, I really want to Pick Nick's brain though why does he love Boston so much, Look I enjoyed the first half of this season but I feel like we are finally getting that messiness I have been wanting from the start
I don't know if I have ever seen a series use so many flashbacks, did they run out of script so they just resorted to flashback's to fill out the time, started to feel like these writers think we are stupid we are watching the series we don't need flashbacks every 10 minutes....
I think Perth and Chimon are really good actors like acting wise in this drama I can't fault them but you know I am still not completely convinced by them as pairing I just don't feel that chemistry between them, I know chemistry is subjective anyway so I am sure people are on board but in all honesty I actually think they had better chemistry in Never Let Me Go Yeah the kiss was bad which is surprising I know Love By Chance was a few years ago now but one thing you couldn't fault in that drama was the kiss scenes between him and Saint so I am surprised the one here was bad, hmmm maybe it was intentional and the next one will be better
Is it bad that I didn't entirely hate this, look it isn't great but I don't know if it deserves the 6.1 rating though, on the positive side of things I liked that it wasn't the typical fluffy BL that is usually set in highschool and was a little grittier, I also liked that it tried to be educational for example the BDSM storyline I don't think it was executed all that well but I appreciate that they tried, it is still very much a taboo topic you don't see that often, the burger and king relationship was also very cute they were for sure the most likeable of the characters and you know the acting wasn't terrible I was really impressed actually with Pim's actress I thought she did a really good job. There was however still alot of faults with this series so I can see why it wouldn't be for everyone
I really enjoy Joong as an actor so I hope that we get to see him in a more serious role next year whether that be in a BL or not I was really sad that he pulled out of Wednesday Club, I also hope that we do get to see AuoBoom again It will be pretty sad if this ends up being the only series they are a pairing in because we barely got to see them
It has been a pretty long time since I have watched Cutie Pie but I remember being frustrated with that series alot honestly Naughty Babe is just some dumb fun and I am really enjoying it, it is perfect no I still have alot of issues but I am thoroughly entertained I actually think this series is gonna benefit from being only 8 episodes I remember Cutie Pie felt like it went on way to long
I actually don't know where to start after everything that went down in episode 6 so all I will say is everyone is gonna finally be equally unhinged and I can't wait
I still feel like this series has done nothing to address all of the issues with the first couple of episodes like did they just collectively forget all the bullying or what and now we have a love triangle in the mix, you know i am not against love triangles if they are done well but Pimfah having feelings for Sailom really feels like it came out of nowhere and is just there to create drama, I like Kang and Pimfah as friends I didn't realise his feelings for her are as strong as they seemingly are in episode 5, The acting in this series is seriously so good but i think the script is a little all over the place , glad that we finally met June in this episode
I am curious how people would rank the couples of The Jungle I think for me 01. Florence and Nathee 02, Nanfah and Pladao 03. August and Pine 04. Hunter and Emmy 05. Nannam and Nithan 06. Hack and Irin 07. Phethai and Gale
I am so sad at how bad this series ended up being, this was honestly one of the shows I was most excited for PSIHY was one of my favourite shows last year so I maybe had to high expectations on the team behind The Jungle, there just wasn't much I enjoyed about this show, some of the couples were good though I really liked Namfah and Pladao's storyarc even though it was rushed and imo had a really unsatisfying ending I also really enjoyed Nathee and Florence's storyline it was a little quirky but i had fun with it even though again it was very rushed, I had my issues with Pine and August's storyline overall but I was just so happy to have Pat back on screen she stole the show with every scene she was in. This show also really wasted Mix him and Jamie were so good together why did they not get multiple episodes I was more invested in their 5 minutes of screentime than most of the other pairings lol
I don't know what is with GMMTV show's this year having a cliffhanger ending first Midnight Museum then Homeschool and now The Jungle tbh I would be very surprised if all three actually ended up with a season 2 and I just don't know if The Jungle was popular enough to get one
I can't believe they waited until episode 10 to start a storyline with Guy and Podd I can't see them doing much with it in two episodes, this series really did waste their supporting cast so much Jeng and Pok's storyline is really good but it has a total of about 10 minutes of screentime, such a waste
Honestly I feel like this series really is the biggest missed opportunity the mock trailer really did show a series with so much potential and this series has not been it however I do enjoy it because Joongdunk have really good chemistry these days so I enjoy watching them be soft with each other I don't think I needed 12 episodes of it but it is what it is, If there is a possibility that Joongdunk get a third series together I do hope it is one with decent plot that can actually showcase them as actors Joong is really good and for as much hate as he gets I stand by that Dunk has improved so much since SIMM
Max and Zee really do have so much chemistry sometimes I get sad these two aren't the ship in this universe, look is this gonna be the best series ever probably not but there is just something so charming about the Cutie Pie universe and I enjoy watching it so much
I know there have been loads of theories about Mew being this master manipulator and completely aware of everything but after this episode I really don't think that is the case I think he is living this almost fantasy with Top and trying to ignore any insecurities he might have I genuinely don't think he is aware of anything Top has done and is being truthful with him I don't think he is this all seeing person people thought he was, God I know Nick has done some messed up stuff but he is just so besotted with Boston I don't even know if it is love or Obsession he needs something to break him out of that spell, First and Khaotung prove once again how electric their chemistry is i think SandRay is honestly my favourite part of the show tragic and romantic all at once
as for the series itself you know it was fine similar to SIMM if you want a nice simple watch then this will be the series for you but I probably wouldn't recommend unless you are a big fan of Joongdunk as a pairing.
