I like this drama and I actually really like the fml especially in the context of this revenge plot. She’s someone who’s never known the type of comfort her current peers experienced, the one positive in her childhood was her mother (and later the ml) and that was so cruelly and callously taken away from her.
She had to grow a very thick skin after that and she, along with her very few allies, plotted and worked so hard to get to where she is now. She doesn’t have the advantages other fmls of this genre usually have no strong connections, no rebirth, no special skills, she literally only has her wits and guts. So when the male lead said he’d protect the one person she wants to kill I’m glad she put herself first.
The sml is not a baby he knows exactly why she was with him and he is also playing his own game. They both made the decision to marry each other for their own selfish reasons, so I don’t feel that bad for him. I feel like that arc was need the ml was not taking her dedication seriously enough (I understand the imperial implications but from her single minded perspective that wasn’t enough of a reason)
She’s someone who struggles to live beyond her life’s goal (I can’t even blame her with how foul everyone in this family is) and I’m genuinely watching this drama to see her dreams come true because all these ppl have got to go 🔪🙂‍↕️

My blood pressure went through the roof at ep 15 I’m sorry I’m not accepting anything less than humiliation and destruction of the xie family 😤

I really like this one so far. I’m not watching it for the actors at all so it’s def an unbiased watch for me but I like how they’re interacting and the chill horror vibes of the storytelling. The romance seems exciting too

Ep 4 wow what a great episode so cinematic and dramatic

The mental health crisis in this drama tho I feel it’s about to get deep

Fml does *not* have the same 24 hrs as me omg she’s making big moves while trying to fix the ml and their household all while looking very relaxed 😭

First the ost for this drama is so dreamy I really like it
Second someone actually needs to beat up the 2ML
Third 2FL needs to get real that man does not want youuuuuu you’re not even on his radar lmaooo stop blaming the FL for that and grow a backbone

I think he wants to have his cake and eat it too tbh but I def want to know why she’s done done and he’s still obsessive

And him trying to gaslight her at the end of the episode too (about the transfer) he’s treating her like shit 🤢

The 2ml is annoying af why’s he acting like they’re still together? Policing their actions and acting like it’s job related ew He needs a wake up call

If they made the first arc of the book *this* good I actually CANT wait for the army arc it has to be sensational 😭

After watching the first 9 episodes this definitely lives up to the book I’m loving it!

This is one of my fav novels im gonna crash out if this doesn’t turn out great 😭
