Ex hasn't appeared yet and already has such an impact on the story. Him being taken away by Top, as the main reason why Sand has such a grudge - which led him to trick Ray into blowing up at the party exposing all the tea.

Then there's the fact that Mew figured out pretty quickly that the mysterious 'B' was Top's favourite ex who he held in a special regard. The ominous music playing as the camera lingered over that model plane certainly implied something dire in the works

Mew - essentially being reborn as a new person on hsi b-day. As in he now sees the people around him for who they truly are.

welp, he's definitely transitioning into something else !

it's possible that Mew starts out the way he is, then undergoes character development and wrecks hell on Top and Ton later.

We've been assuming he started out as a cunning master mind - but instead he might grow into it later. From naive to nasty by the end.

Both Gay Ok Bangkok which Jojo references specifically in relation to OF and FZ1/2 have relationships go through the wringer and sometimes. they don't come out intact.

- Green flags, even the MLs, can become red flags.

- Another thing is that even the most toxic character can find some form of redemption - if not inner peace and happiness by the end. Only after undergoing major character development and penance for all the crap they did before.

- Mains finding their happiness with someone who was originally just background/support or randomly pops out of nowhere.

based on how Jojo seems to word it, most of the established pairings we are now seeing may not survive. Or they appear in some form that we don't expect.

It;s funny how originally First was asked if it was hard to act and he mentions a scene and partner he's known for a long time and who surprised him. Then Neo interjected and everyone started being all cagey.

Then at a fanmeet they started talking about a 'secret character' and it seems, the cast got the greenlight to add hype about this SC to the promo since now Book who is basically ML at this point, is the one to introduce said character.

90% chance it's Mix with all the near blatant hints. Also it's very possible that we have more than one cameo. Alrady got Drake. Mix could be a secret character while Sea could be a cameo. Then again the cast could be trolling and it's neither

well now in Eps 7 the overarching plots you have pointed out are both 'apparently' done. Unless there is something more looks like the story is moving on with the whole HackIrin + Pine mess.

Not dismissing the WayuGale out of hand, just that it seemed to end too early and too neatly. Many people already felt that the first 3 eps was a mess and that the series started at eps 4.
Just thinking there has to be more to it. The cast kept hyping the plot suggesting that everything is not all it seems

WayuGale story seems to have no relation to everything else. It's really strange. There has to be some sort of pay off because the plot was wrapped up far too quickly and neatly for my taste

the only difference is that FZ all the stories were integrated and woven together so the beginning, middle and end of each plot was resolved by the end of the series together.

Whereas hee each member's plot is split up in separate unitswhich makes it somewhat more confusing. For example by all accounts PethaiGale's plot is done, so is NanamNithan. It's an odd choice by the director and the production team.

well if it wasn't already obvious, it's clear that the Jungle men aren't as problematic as they initially appeared. Yes they are an avowed group of playboys with a one-s stand policy but it's their little selling point.
Honestly, from afar they look like a group of male hookers working for Hunter to attract women to his bar, paid in free drinks and rooms haha
What they all have in common is a deeply traumatic past which they hide under multiple layers: beat names, different roles they play in public, their personalities - all masks to hide their real selves from outsiders.

With how Nanam and Nithan developed, it's hard to see Viper being involved with Kewta's tragic end. And, for the record, neither Nanfah. Maybe the mystery of Kewta's end will be connected to the overall story proper because at this time, neither PethaiGale plot and the NanamNitahn plot seem to be related to the main plot...which is really about unravelling the purpose behind the Jungle.

On one hand, we sorta know it's a secret club for these 6 broken men to hang out and sleep with women. On the other, there seem to be undercurrents of something more. Why was Hunter so against the public knowing about the Jungle, while Hack seemed all for it?

when did these men meet and organise this set-up? And Hunter is definitely not apart of them, but one of them. Is it some kinda criminal enterprise ? is the Jungle and Rendezvous a front for covering up illegal or illicit activity?

at this point it's rather obvious none of the Jungle boys are actual red flags. They are green flags posing as red flags . Nanfah/Pladao would not be endgame if he was the one who got her cousin to suicide herself.

In-Verse, based on how the antagonist/villain in the Pethai story and the Nanam story was the person introduced in their flashbacks ( which happens to be their mothers) it's reasonable to assume Kitti had something to do with it.

The first three feels disconnected because the PethaiGale plot seems separate from the main plot -which seems to be about the mystery of The Jungle proper.
Although one suspects that later on some things will become interconnected.
