Title The Jungle
I'd prefer this if the guys were interacting more, at the moment they meet for a couple of scenes on the sofa,…
The cast has admitted that due to their individual schedules (especislly the men), it was very difficult shooting with them all together. That maybe one of the reasons for the lack of scenes where the Jungle boys are together

Title The Jungle
I really like it, enjoyed every second of it, not sure why people talk about bad acting, I did not noticed it…
the teaser last year had a slo-mo group of poser edgelord playboys and even a character that sneezes when she lies.
Dunno what they were expecting tbh.

try and be patient. It looks like The Jungle is trying to establish everyone's stories and romances one after the other but the objective is for the ladies and for us the audience to figure out WHO and WHy The Jungle exist.

these guys didn't just meet randomly and decided to start this out of the blue. or did they?

Title The Jungle Spoiler
Anyone who watched PSIHY will probably feel The Jungle has some similarities but overall seems without focus. Mainly because in PSIHY the plot was driven by 2 main questions: WHO leaked the drive and WHY. Everything was tied by the secret tragic event that bound the Blossom Squad and the story never lost sight of that.
The Jungle seems to be somewhat aimless in comparison. The questions that drive the plot seems to be WHO is the Jungle and WHY was it established. To answer that, the script chose for the audience to go through each member's story and relationship development one after another, while giving hints and clues in the background to the central questions.

Pethai/Gale's storyline was a rather typical lakorn style childhood romance that as they grew up, became conflicted due to various issues. Chiefly the mother and in typical dramatic larger-than-life lakorn fashion, it involved having one child assume the identity and life of another etc.

Lee cast as Wayu/Pethai a hot shot celebrity with a psycho mother - a callback to his role in PSIHY. But this time, he seemingly throws the shackles and becomes his own person.

Mook as Gale the childhood friend who knew Wayu and his secret. Because of her, Pethai, seemingly the least offensively toxic of the whole band of playboy wannabe edgelords (even his intro had an icecream fall on his head), finds his heart and courage to get away from psycho mom's
shadow

At this point, the Jaguar and Rabbit storyline seems resolved. They even disappear from the plot proper. One going to France and the other quitting acting. But hold up. Psycho Mom was the reason Pethai's adventures as a member of the Jungle were exposed to the press in the first place. Things may not be truly over.

One thing that can be said though is that the story is getting through the individual stories and relationships at a brisk pace. Which suggests that the makers want to get into the 2nd part which is what comes after, when everyone got their romantic ending? This is where i think the original question as to WHO and WHY the Jungle came about in the first place will be answered.
