If you are new and plan to watch this, do note that this is definitely a BL and at that point of time is still China censorship unlike the current international "loophole" where you are able to watch some uncensored BL from China.

I truly believed that Episode 30 isn't the end, but somehow it's the end because there is ??? to the plot, but the process of BL was really hot especially ML2 since I am more similar towards ML1 princess personality.
On Single’s Inferno Season 5 Feb 10, 2026
Not too sure if so many couples matched is a good thing, considering many audiences already kinda knew some things are scripted and that most participants are here for fame, and that leaving Single's Inferno doesn't mean they truly start dating or have a relationship, or even if they do, usually they don't last (since the time they need to decide is short for them to be truly certain of anything when it comes to real world consideration factors). There would always be some audiences who take this seriously still if the couples didn't really endgame irl.

However, as a reality entertaining Dating Show, this is the best season I have watched ngl. Season 1 have the least drama where the casts seem more genuine on camera and there were not much games activity but continuous easy paradise trips, but the seasons progression keep adding some new stuff and twist which make it entertaining when watching this non-seriously. I think it was Season 3 onwards that this show became less real about love, but more on entertainment. Still gotta give that thumbs up to the casts for giving their all for the games. Those are not so scripted because they injure their skin and it was painful to watch them try so hard, but kudos to all of their effort, and giving me laughter in the journey watching some of their nonsense, drama and tension. 🤗

After watching episode 1, it was mediocre for the initial plot buildup, but the episode progression definitely get better and better. The chemistry of CP1 is great if we were to compare to their initial debut in Addicted (obviously since they keep in touch these 8-10 years)

The episodes are too short that I would love to see more of CP2 as well. ML3 is hot and is my cup of tea. I feel like I have seen him before somewhere on a drama but can't rmb where.

This drama is less about plot but more on just BL imo. Like some things are cringey but yet comfortable, and also some comedy stuff that don't make sense but still bearable to watch. On conclusion I actually like it and can't wait to see more
On Love after Addiction Feb 6, 2026
Each episode nett span about 19 minutes average after deducting opening and ending credit time.

Based on scheduling, we can expect to see only 2 episodes per week, 1 on Friday and 1 on Saturday excluding today's debut of 4 episodes at once.

At first, it wasn't gripping me. I found it more "fake" than the first season, but once Izaya and William…
Also not to mention, Tomoaki went from the depressed negative person to the bubbly jokester in the group. What a character development unlocked.

And yes more Bomi and less William. Not a fan of fkboys/jerks but I am okay with their redemption. However, would prefer to see more Lovely angels like Bomi if I can have a choice.

Huwei and Bomi not being together doesn't shock me in the slightest. no kiss but asking to be his boyfriend ?…
You are such a sad person, like really, making up things just because things don't go your way. Bomi and Huwei may get together some time in the future, just not now. Huwei ain't ready, while Bomi is still young no fear. Getting together doesn't need a kiss on screen or anything. 1 is still fresh like oven with no experience, and the other one is just bad at romance. But I do agree Bomi deserves better because I see he has put much more effort in the relationship chasing despite having no bf in the past, but Huwei has his development, so I don't wanna cut short Huwei on his character development just because he is lacking. He knows he is lacking in romance aspect and is working on it!

Taeheon didn't go with Jobu because he has no one. There's Hiroya too, but Taeheon likes Jobu as a person more. Amid their differences that they decided that they don't work out and that's perfectly okay?

Where's your proof on Izaya/William's planned on coming to the show for fame? I get that you don't like this CP but there is really no need to slander them.

It's natural that everyone casted will earn some popularity after the show and people whom aren't looking for a relationship may be coming for the show partially for fame other than self-discovery of an answer, but people who are ideally looking for a relationship because of DaiShun's success are genuine on their own. Maybe there is no relationship, but friendship expansion stays for a very long time considering the community is small and discreet mostly, seeing how so many of them are not yet out to their parents before the show but did so after and those are super moments we shouldn't cut short on their part just because you don't get the Happy Ending you wanted.
On The Boyfriend Season 2 Feb 5, 2026
I am alittle sad for TaeBu but I can understand since they are obviously at different pace in life considering the age gap but at least they still have good friendship with each other. The community can be really bad, but the good thing about this show is that everyone is great people and therefore the friendship crafted can be treasured for a lifetime they won't ever forget. They are friends for life. ❤️

Title The Boyfriend Season 2 Spoiler
Reunion Relationship confirmation status
Izaya and William are still together, living together, and Izaya have met William's parents (coming out)

Taeheon and Jobu are just good friends now, they kinda broke up citing certain incompatibility.

Bomi and Huwei aren't together, with each other focusing on what they want to do with life, such as Huwei with his career etc, but they maintain good relationship
On The Boyfriend Season 2 Feb 3, 2026
Despite some criticism due to the cut and IzayaWilliam taking too much screen time, I think this is so far the best real BL reality show internationally. HisMan used to be decently good until some people being casted used the platform just for fame and also for the latest one being reenacted/refilm due to some controversy and then the casts acted like they don't know each other, making certain things look fake and it's definitely somewhat scripted.

This one is more raw, more real that people are really looking for connection and relationship. I hope there would be The Boyfriend 3.

I definitely love this season over the previous one as love is still love regardless if one is acquainted with the other before. I am not here just to watch for entertainment, I am here to watch 2 people, more than 1 couple of possible, fall in love and get together while managing their differences. The best healing BL reality show I get. ❤️
On The Boyfriend Season 2 Feb 3, 2026
While the casts have yet to post any latest updates about them confirming being together still, but all the CPs we seen in the show are endgame. 😍❤️
On Love after Addiction Feb 1, 2026
I came here because I saw the 2CP leads of addicted and they have matured and I was looking forward to it until I saw the recent news

I just hope the production can resolve this by compensating the author monetarily or something and be able to proceed as usual. It is already very difficult for a Chinese BL to take into actual fruition (like kisses etc on screen) so I hope the show don't get cancelled because of backend issues, but I do get the Author's reaction.
On The Boyfriend Season 2 Jan 29, 2026
So Netflix just released the "girls" doing facial mask together clip. Why this show has to be cut short per episodes? It's a waste especially they have 2 months long. Such routine included in the show would have been so good to watch, especially we are seeing Tomo's different side of himself etc. The tension between Hiroya and Tomo due to that particular incident were ultimately resolved maturely that I feel there is no need to shed some dark light on either of them in how they handled it

I have watched till Episode 12 and I did not see that happen. What episode are you watching?
Oh, I believed you say something about Huwei family before you edited to be friends that's why I commented
On The Boyfriend Season 2 Jan 27, 2026
Now I kinda get why William and Izaya had so much screentime cause they ended at Ep 10 and there's 5 to go. Personally I like the way Izaya look at William but I am not interested in William.

Love Bomi x Huwei. Bomi is really mature for his age and he is kinda pure.

I believed Taeheon will pick Jobu at the end. I am rooting for them. I love Jobu's Mum. Kinda get why/how Jobu have great personality after seeing her. He is a man/boy full of love and Taeheon definitely need that kind of love.

I'm still confused on how Huwei keeps mentioning Ryuki was an option but he is not approaching him ever to have…
I have watched till Episode 12 and I did not see that happen.
What episode are you watching?
