This ain't really so much of a BL, but depicts the story of the life of a gay man. Many realistic parts of life…
And also, HIV is a permanent scar
It's not easy to have someone able to accept the way you are because of the mistake you make. Will you choose to hinder the love of your life's career because of your HIV or will you choose to let them go?
Since things already happened, it's also how you decide to live with it and move on with your life. Safe sex always, and don't just trust anyone you know that easily even if they are someone you are dating
This ain't really so much of a BL, but depicts the story of the life of a gay man. Many realistic parts of life piece together in 1 for the background of a main character, whom happen to be gay.
Learning to be happy single ain't a sad ending imo.
Chasing love, learning how to love and mistakes made that cause permanent scars etc. are part of life. Not everyone will have a partner that they can spend the rest of their lives with, and even in a very long term relationship, people do come and go. Sometimes choosing to let go is also part of love.
There will be regrets and memories that you greatly missed, but choices are made. Learning how to move on and cope with loneliness without constantly finding someone to have fun is also part of personal growth.
Have you finish watching? He broke off the engagement eventually. All the 4 of them end up single
I didnt binge watch either. Just like 1 of the comment below, I find the drama less bearable to watch after Mi Ae married and "left". But still try to finish this lol.
Look out for the scene where Go Young and this friend were doing 💐.
Per the reply to you above, I made it to 15 and past. But even through ep 17, nothing improved.Story: not able…
I have watched finish and I overall do enjoy it.
In the beginning it seems weak but once you watch finish, you will get it
The reason is because the timeline wise they do recall, then go to present, and recall back to the past again. It seems a little messy, but I get their intention to create that impact. The main story is actually quite a masterpiece.
Alot of questions you may have will get to be answered near the end.
It's a bit far fetched, trying to insert Christian themes into a definitely danmei-(censored)-adaptation. I particularly…
Yeah, that's why I initially mention it's not related/relevant. This is just for "fun", don't take me too seriously.
I do agree with what you say. But realistically speaking, without a fighter anymore, Nie Clan will likely get wiped out if someone evil out there wants to get rid of them. They will die in battle if not die in cultivation either way. He may have the brain, but in battle he will really die if clans don't work together to help out (just saying as a plot assumption, not saying that it will actually happen). Furthermore, his intelligence wasn't put to work before his brother die. Only when his brother die, then suddenly his intelligence > Meng Yao. This is part of the plot so there's definitely no what if. But just saying he's really been acting Sloth before his revenge to find the truth. Reasons to not cultivate so he won't go berserk, sure. But what else did he do or contribute to anything for their society back then when everyone else is at war or have a fight? I know he is there at the 2nd Buried Mounds Siege (while being a hidden identity to oversee things), but don't remember he was there at the 1st one when so many people die.
Meng Yao does care for LXC in one way, but also at the same time selfish in his own way. Yeah, he did betray his trust, but that trust doesn't cause LXC harm physically, but to the others. In a way that will also hurt LXC, but in Meng Yao's perspective, other than protecting himself through whatever means, he won't do any physical harm to LXC. Even at the last moment, his intention when stab by LXC is for him to die together with him, only to let LXC go since LXC really just stayed there (because he know stabbing Meng Yao was a mistake when Meng Yao really didn't move but still get stab) and LXC had been the nice bigger brother to Meng Yao and he knows.
The story is actually quite a masterpiece, just the drama censorship that cause some alteration with both plot and timeline get a little messy. Cause afterall, the true villain is everyone/"society" because of their "words of mouth" for the villains like Meng Yao and Su She to justify why they kill. Even words of mouth "killed" MC in his lonely journey where he couldn't share to anyone since no one would understand anyways (except LWJ but WWX choose to keep to himself till the end). The way WWX laughed sounded like he was the villain because everyone thinks and want him to be the villain.
Why I say JC killed him is because throughout the journey, JC never really stood by MC side when he needed him. Even if nobody understands or everyone misunderstood, only YanLi was with WWX, JC joined the others to insult and ridicule WWX since his part of his ego was at play. This technically "killed" him too. In this drama version, at least he is the one who cause MC to fall off and die when LWJ tries his best to hold on to WWX)
Finished the drama and I get why people are saying this is a Masterpiece. There are still plot holes however and to catch the story better is to read the novel and/or rewatch the drama again (for canon and non-canon parts)
Even though it's not related to the plot universe, but there are Seven Deadly Sins identified in the plot of the series in the order of Death.
Greed: Wen Ruohan - Already at the highest position among the Clans but still desire for immoral powers to be of "higher position in control".
Pride: Wei Wu Xian seemingly in the eyes of "everyone", but actually is Jiang Chen - Killed Main Character once since he is easily swayed by the words of others despite knowing he is a lesser person compared to WWX in terms of everything they do, blinded by ego and refusing to believe his childhood friend compared to all the other unrelated people whom he barely knew. The Pride of MC also partially contributed to kill WWX himself since he was led to be the scapegoat of all, if not most "crimes", being overly confident of his own creation. Placed 2nd because MC "died" even though JC didn't.
Lust: Jin Guang Shan - Ultimately created a villain on his own terms whom killed JGS himself. Also played the role of the next Greed after WRH, for similar reasons but with different methods.
Gluttony: Xue Yang - Root of Evil started from not being able to eat Sweets/Candies due to his background. Was mistreated and ultimately evolved to seek vengeance for anything/anyone that are related to Xiao Xing Chen (whom also coincidentally has some form of relations to the Yueyang Chang Clan whom mistreated XY and not giving him the food they "promised").
Envy: Su She - Covet over the things and qualities that Lan Wang Ji has. Eventually assisted Wrath on his goals because they have similar backgrounds while Wrath can remember SS's name.
Wrath: Jin Guang Yao aka Meng Yao - kills everyone eventually whom calls him "Son of a Whore" (+ anything related) and everyone (not on his side) whom knows his secret so that he can hide his secrets. On the contrary, he does care for those whom doesn't belittle him for his background and/or status such as Lan Xi Chen.
Sloth: Nie Huai Sang - Having been responsible for nothing serious until brother Nie Ming Jue's death which then became his wake up call. Have been doing things rather carefreely despite being intelligent but not utilising that intelligence when needed until wanting to find whom kill and dismember his brother to seek "vengeance". Prevention would have been the key as if he knew, and when things are already late then want to find the truth. In the process of truth pays the price of sacrifice of others without laying his own hands dirty. The mastermind of resurrection whom also starts to kill for revenge, but not at his own hands. Master of Pretence. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
1. Xue Yang disappeared mysteriously without a sound, he has the lust to kill people so it's out of character,…
Good to hear! I was hoping he's not a bad guy and thankfully he remain good till the very end.
Then my guess is Su She. Originally from Lan Clan then kinda betray them and start his own section. This kind of behavior sure call for a second time to be a villain, I think?
1. Xue Yang disappeared mysteriously without a sound, he has the lust to kill people so it's out of character,…
I remember LXC in the early episodes can use a powerful Flute to appease the "Water Ghost" then after that somehow stop seeing him using it. Is he the actual Mastermind?
From clans that use Music in battle, mainly is the Lan Clan. I know Wen Qing also can use, but that's only that one time and in storyline she should be dead and it's unlikely to be her also.
MXY raise WWX? Since when? In the flashback since he was a young kid after being adopted by Jiang Leader, he was raised by Jiang Leader right? I didn't catch where MXY was in the flashback storyline only until the current timeline when he was resurrected by MXY (by exchanging his own life)
1. Xue Yang disappeared mysteriously without a sound, he has the lust to kill people so it's out of character,…
Finished Ep 33, will wait to see what exactly happened to Wen Ning despite the story so far claiming he has been burned and turn to ashes
Q1. Saw someone controlling a power similar to WWX at the "war" arc, but somehow seems to be stronger than WWX since his flute manage to control and override WWX power
Is that Xue Yang or Meng Yao? Why do I think it's Meng Yao since previously when he use a sword to stab, the sword is bendable. Seems like he also wasn't able to wield a sword properly like WWX after cultivating the Flute power
Q2. So based on this observation, it was also the same person that control Wen Ning on the background to kill JZX. The motive very clear seem like Meng Yao's doing.
And if I get correctly from verbal presentation, LWJ was punished for 3 years since he aided WWX back then but WWX didn't realise why he was punished. After his punishment then he went to try to find WWX body, right?
Did this Villain know WWX will return? Why the wicked power surface once again only after he is back? And it's 16 years timeline.
1. Xue Yang disappeared mysteriously without a sound, he has the lust to kill people so it's out of character,…
Ah I see, thank you
Cause in the drama when they said Yin Iron were destroyed, they never mentioned destroyed by WWX iirc, it sounded like the clans work together to destroy it as Jin leader took over Wen's position since Nie Leader didn't want that position. Also, like what you said regarding that Yin Iron not being part of the original story, so adding to the adaptation may have "lost" a little bit of the plot and since Wen Ruohan is no longer around, that Yin Iron is no longer relevant to that canon side of the story.
Another spoiler question that I would like to ask is how come Wen Ning's body as Ghost General still around 16 years after he died when Wen Qing and Wen Ning supposed to have been killed as sentence of the "crime"?
Pardon me, I may have taken the story very seriously for visual plot that I may have missed from verbal presentation since I catch and remember better from visual scenes than from script lines 😅
1. Xue Yang disappeared mysteriously without a sound, he has the lust to kill people so it's out of character,…
Thank you so much again, your explanation make me understand the plot better
It's just weird why the past generation split the Yin Iron into 4 as if it cannot be destroyed then the current generation literally just destroy it like it doesn't matter 😅
I suppose his Yin Tiger Amulet is stronger because it was from the very same weapon that stop the previous Yin Iron user and that fake Xuanwu creature?

The younger son is J's assistant or something. Based on his reaction when he stab the Detective, don't seem to be the Serial Killer
