I read some comments. Personally, I enjoy the flow of things and reveals in this season as compared to the previous. It feels like the cut are much better done because whatever the panels are feeling, I am generally feeling the same way, so we are on the same page.
Idk why, but I don't want to be a judge to anyone based on their relationship with their ex now. Let them handle on their own and fix things if they need. So many are raging or siding certain sides as if they are relationship gurus. I wish them all the best in finding new love here and I can understand the pressure as they need to pick someone at the end of the show. This is the best EXchange Season for me so far.

Kong tries to apologise to Ma Hao Xiang but I think she never did for Qiu Tong, or maybe it was edited out I don't know. But since Kong initiated that idea, Qiu Tong may think she has bad intention although we as audience know it was genuinely good.
Either way, she is also misunderstood in many ways since some of the girls seem to have a separate clique of their own

Kelvin lost interest in her probably cause the approach between both of them to know opposite sex doesn't align. Kelvin was clearer on his stand and more consistent. Not saying "getting to know the men" is wrong because that's what the show is partially about, however, the show is more towards having affection to 1 instead of trying for multiples and see where they may go. That's what the Chinese title of this show says.
Kong was slower in understanding her heart and made assumptions on some people are into her when they are not. She is a fine person, just not the type of girl these men are looking for. They are not the only men on Earth, so I hope she manage to find the right one outside of the Island and show considering she has so many fans internationally.
All I can say is she made the wrong move from the start, as she approach one after another only when the men showed they aren't into her. This is at least how it look like in the eyes of the Islander participants even though she isn't a bad person for sure. The rest of the participants only have 1 or 2 person they are interested in and they all have also showed it in their actions until they lock in to just 1 person, just like what Vinson, Kelvin, Pu Yan Yan, Guo Zhen Tao, Xiao Pan and Duan Dan Hui were doing.
Susu was popular as the guys approach her to talk, not that she wants to initiate and talk to them on her own. She sided more towards Ma Hao Xiang and she was honest about it to all the other guys she talked to. I would say the approach to this show regarding on how the rest are doing compared to Kong differs greatly.
The men became more initiative to just 1 or 2 persons once they have someone they know they are interested in. They were said to be passive in the opinion of some ladies but I feel that this could have been due to only the 1st day. They aren't really there to know everyone well as options.
But Kong on the otherhand has the approach in wanting to know lots more about the different men as if they were options to see who is more suitable, despite already seemingly interested in Guo Zhen Tao and Kelvin but she didn't realise until later, and kept on wanting to know other men like Ma Hao Xiang etc. To these people who have 1 person as their preference, it's probably a turn off for them, which is why nobody seemingly seem to be interested in Kong, even though she is kind.
Just finished Ep 7 and omg, I really like this season. It is so fun to watch. The ex reveals were unpredictable and the interaction between someone of their interests were nice to watch.
What Baek Hyun said at the end of the Ep regarding EXchange I kinda agree as it make sense. But having interaction with new people together can make one see their heart deeper regarding on their ex that they never knew. However, I still ship EXchange(s) for this show and especially this season. It makes me flutter for them and I enjoy seeing them smile, laugh and have fun than seeing them cry just because of some lingering feelings.

I agree that the way Minkyung and him had their first meeting in that chat room is the best entrance so far. It was so fresh that I got so excited when it happened too 😁
Some people say they hate the ending, but for me, this is one of the best illustrated realistic ending of life.
Not many get to end up with our first love, especially when our goals and direction with time set us apart. Maybe some people still get to keep in touch with their first love as someone still very important in their life, but if not, they are still part of our irreplaceable memory that we cherished, I believed. ❤️
I have watched this some years back despite knowing/hearing about "not happy ending", but I don't regret watching it even though I never rewatch it as I still can remember how I felt about watching this. This was a beautiful first love story even for the OST.

I have opposite opinion as someone shallow. Hioki gets better the more you see him. There is some hidden thing he has that somehow he got more attractive, like hidden beauty you don't see at first.
On the other hand, I find that all the F4 ain't really that attractive enough for all the girls in school to swoon over. Maybe everyone has different aesthetics preferences, but I like Kurosawa and Adachi kind in Cherry Magic and Ida Kousuke in Love Mix Up! for example
I love this Singles' Inferno adaptation with improvisation and some originality in it. Very high budget that there is no need to leave the island considering the island can provide decent food enough for winning dates

Ji Yeon is very nice to watch that I admire her attitude and passion in chasing someone she likes at "her age". It's giving me the "meeting your first love vibe" which tbh, it's very hard to be feeling like that again when we are past the time we are still studying as we need to deal with people when we turn working adults.
I see that Yoosik has communication issue being passive and avoidant, while Minkyung is coming off alittle too aggressive considering she approach him to talk only when she has issues with him that she sees he is doing something very different from how she knows him when they are together. I get her, but at the same time they are all already single. She has no right to tell him what he should or should not be doing even if she is just questioning why is he like this. He on the otherhand should ask her if she wanna gets back with him then learn to fix their relationship issue that cause them to quarrel, instead of trying to just "ask her to stop and shut up" whenever she approach him with that kind of tonality and him being an ostrich hiding his head, keeping quiet and don't solve any issue. All I see is communication issue where she still has the possibility with wanting to get back with him and him being just an acknowledger that do nothing. Your ex says that she doesn't want to get back with you and you will be like, okay, I probably shouldn't be trying. Obedient in a not the right way from what I see. I am sure he has some issues with her too but he doesn't voice them out. Their issue don't get resolve if they doesn't have good alignment.
I ship them with someone new that can bring out the best of them than the worst of them which the show is currently portraying, even though I already read spoiler. Everyone has their good and bad traits, that I don't think it's fair or right to side 1 or the other just based on the negative traits they show in EXchange 4. So rather than needing to change or anything, I rather they get to be with someone that can align well with their bad traits than having 2 bumper cars which is hard to watch every time they talk.

I agree, but I don't defend Yoosik 100% this round. He definitely shows sign of avoidant but at the same time, being a passive person, I find that he has good personality in this way because he don't raise voice or use that kind of tonality on her, but avoiding is bad during a relationship because it doesn't fix or resolve any underlying issues

I agree! I get Yoosik but I don't wanna 100% defend him. Minkyung only approach Yoosik to talk everytime she has a problem with his actions, and only when she is pissed with him.

There's something wrong with his personality at the same time there's something great in his personality too. It seems like he is a "Mr nice guy" that don't raise his voice or show his anger, but at the same time doesn't fix or resolve issues.
Tbf I don't see anything wrong with him not sleeping too much during the show considering he is putting away his job and he is freaking free now. I get tired from job that I tend to sleep easier and earlier but if I am not working and have plenty of time, I tend to be night owl and sleep late, and it's easier to be night owl considering I am getting to know and making new friends in a show that has limited time within that space which makes sleeping seem like a waste of time.
Yoosik should have asked Minkyung if she wanted to get back with him then fix his issue which she has on him. Because right now as individual, I don't see an issue with him hanging around the others considering they are ALL SINGLE that nobody has the right to control what they should or should not do but I can understand how inconsistent he seemed to be in front of the others as compared to when he is with Minkyung, so her being angry with him I can understand, but her approach is not very well.
I can roughly imagine what they are like when they are in a relationship from the conversation they had down that living room. One is alittle aggressive, and the other is passive avoidant. Doesn't seem like issue can be resolve well whenever they quarrel in their relationship. I read about the spoiler but I still hope they find someone else that suit them better. They are good people in their own way that don't match each other's relationship style, something like love language.

But My Sibling's Romance have at least 2 end game although none made it in real life. 1 pair made it but they broke up.

These are Exes either getting back together or find new pair. There are at least 2 whom made it end game but some plot twist after the show IRL for EXchange 3. Most of the ex got back together IRL after the show.
