I watched this just cuz I saw someones comment about a couple from here getting married. It was very exciting trying to guess which couple is strong enough to end up so happy. I wasn't too happy with Kai wen choosing junjun because he reminds me of men who go for women full of life only to drain the life out of them and I accept that I'm very biased but the way he handled talking to her about gaining weight and acting like it's ridiculous to put on the cute animal hat on pearls birthday just didn't sit right with me. I must be wrong through since they are married he must be good to her and I hope the best for them both. Also for William. As for Zhang tian and yi chen.... The way they looked at each other and thier involuntary smiles when talking together felt like theyve got something, chemistry and tension. Although Wu Pei really was the sweetest and pearl the happiest with him, they couldn't compare to the dynamic the two of them had, even though that dynamic wasn't exactly the healthiest. They both got into making the other jealous , never resolving what was going wrong just knowing there's something between them and blindly believing in it. I'm not shocked there were issues between them later I just didn't expect them to be that bad. Zhang tian is pretty brave and confident, yi chen does seem alot more insecure compared to her so I shouldn't have been surprised he's the one who got upset. Didn't think he'd publicly try to slut shame her that's really low and disgusting. She wasn't even cheating on him it was her past, if he couldn't handle it he should've let her be . When I looked through the weibos of the participants the post of them announcing there on the island is from 2020? Did they film this in 2020 and are only airing it now. Then if any of the couples got together they should be like getting married after 5 years it should be easy enough to know if anyone did end up in a long term relationship by just doing a little online stalking. Yeah I just came on here to see if anyone else has this issue I'm on the 3rd ep and the way scenes are cut , the clunky on the nose dialogue between the CEO and ml and the random scenes that don't entirely make sense as you've mentioned are putting me off watching more of this. As a tan girl myself it's so painful to watch this but I can't keep myself from watching in hopes something works out well for the two poor girls like it feels so unfair that they have to fight for themselves to get a chance with whoever they like and the more pale girls are being fought over it's no one's fault ofc everyone is entitled to like whoever they like but in a dating show if it was gonna be this obvious that people only go for conventionally attractive women why send your non conventionally attractive friend to suffer in there

I wish my Korean was better because some of those conversations would make a lot more sense if I knew exactly what they're saying and not just the translations. The use of language to show intimacy is pretty important in this show.

Ah that does make sense. The writers had to come up with something completely original while keeping skinship limited so it must've been hard, but still it could have been done better.
