jisoo was by far my favorite character right up until the last ep when he left minhee to die alone and afraid...like wtf my mouth dropped open when he fucking scrambled away with her phone and left her to bleed out like that. like, even if she is trying to get you arrested you don't leave someone like that?? of all the atrocious acts shown in this drama that was honestly the most fucked up one imo
the voice dubbing is interesting. why does english dubbing on foreign films always sound robotic while in anime…
i think it's mostly the budget tbh. there's a whole dubbing industry that mostly resolves around the gaming and anime world with talented people like troy baker, todd haberkorn, laura bailey,... these are household names in the dubbing world and if you want them working on your project you're going to have to pay them appropriately. the voice actors for eng dubs of live actions aren't (at least not in america, since most live actions from other countries don't get dubbed like in non-english speaking countries). i guess you could compare them with daytime soap actors, y'know. not necessarily bad, but mostly just average.
ok but they really found the best actors out there for this movie...this has made its way into my top 5 movies and it's thanks to the masterful portrayals of zhou dong yu and jackson yi. jackson especially surprised me...he's come a long way from his role in 'finding soul'
Honestly, I wish Mi Joo would just be forward and ask him out, or have her colleague try to set them up because…
yeah i really hope he doesn't end up developing feelings for bo kyung, bc literally the last thing i want from this drama is some dumbass love triangle tbh lmao ((honestly i would give my life for a cute and realistic romance between him and mi joo lol))
ok ngl lowkey shipped inwoo and dongsik before ep 8, but clearly inwoo is out of the question now...so can dongsik go on that date with his colleague mi joo, bc i honestly think they'd be really cute :'(
i'm on ep 6, but i'm not really enjoying it as much as everyone else seems to be? i feel like the actors don't really have the characters they're trying to portray completely down, which is a shame bc in all other projects i've seen them in they were fantastic and it's bothering me more than i anticipated (also i'm incredibly furstrated by the misunderstanding between shin and sun ho like just be honest with each other pLS). can anyone tell me if it gets better later on?
everyone freaking out over the kiss, but here i am thinking abt the fact that she was in dirty well water in a village where literally everyone died of the plague for for like a day....bruh, what if they both have the plague now lmao
listen, i've been enjoying this drama immensely, but i just hate that do hwa's taken a back seat these past few eps in favour of literally every other characters angsting over each other lmao
seriously?? omg noo, he's such a sweetheart , it's been a long time since i liked a kdrama character as much as i like him :'(( has the drama been closesly following the manhwa in terms of plot, like, is there any chance they'll keep it more light-hearted in the drama??
it honestly depends. i knew many ppl thought it was good, but bc of the subject matter i didn't go in with too high expectations and was pleasantly surprised! just don't expect a masterpiece going into this. it's just a silly lil romcom with a story that's a breath of fresh air ;)
idk why but i totally thought they were setting dan oh and do hwa up for a romance i was so ready for it tbh lmao ((but i love haru too so it's fine :'))

yess, i would love to see it <3

i'll be sure to give it another chance then!
