Title A Korean Odyssey Spoiler
Did someone here actually ended up happy? Ma Wang lost his love again and only the "heavens" know when he will see her again. He can't tell his own son that he is his father and only look from afar and the kid is kept in dark without knowing anything at least safe from the same "heaven". Jo Pal Gye lost both Bu Ja, Ok Ryong and Ah Sa Nyeo and ended up all alone and miserable. Bu Ja died without actually saying goodbye to her mother even trough it was hinted that she did trough Ah Sa Nyeo but who knows and ended up an evil spirit as Ah Sa Nyeo which was her worst fear and she may have even witnessed everything trough Ah Sa Nyeo's eyes trapped in her own body and not able to do a damn thing about it because her suffering only disappeared when Jin Seon Mi died along with her. Can it get any worse for her? Ok Ryong, our sea prince trapped in Alice not able to go home for the fear of getting killed actually sacrificed his life to save Jo Pal Gye and didn't even tell him of his feelings. Ended up happy? Don't think so. Our lovely Ah Sa Nyeo who only wanted to be loved, live and not be lonely betrayed time after time. She deserves it, right? She is evil. From everyone's perspective she was just an evil spirit. Did any of the characters actually tried to understand her and help her. No even the damn "heaven" tried to get rid of her and even Jo Pal Gye, the man who gave her hope she will be loved again and not get betrayed, betrayed her and as a result he almost died sacrificing Ok Ryong. She is at fault for her/his death right? No she isn't. That was Ok Ryong's choice. Jo Pal Gye deserved that very much and she didn't know that his powers were sealed. She ended up an evil spirit like everyone wanted to wake up the black dragon, right? No she didn't want to wake up a black dragon. She wanted to wake up a divine being who will rule the world. That was her purpose as a priestess and who can blame her for that. Human wickedness and thirst for power made her like that. They used her in the most cruel way shattering her dreams but hey she at least got to tell Jo Pal Gye that she loves him even trough she said that that was Bu Ja's last words. The more I write the worse her fate gets and poor PK no able to protect not even one of them. Who is next? General Frost and Summer Fairy. Sharing one body, one dying to protect the other from the wrath of the Great Sage and the other betraying Great Sage, his master and closest friend to protect his precious sibling whom he allowed to even share his body. How much he loved his beautiful sister and she ended up sacrificing her life for him in front of his very eyes. All alone in the end but hey he gets to run a bar instead of a street ice cream shop, right? Ah and now our main couple, our mischievous monkey who played a prank on a "heaven" by "plugging some chimney" gets to be imprisoned in a house for a few hundred years and the "heaven" was not satisfied with his punishment so they made him a guardian of a girl whom even a wall of bricks would end up in love with after spending some time with her and to make it worse has a deathly fate with him. Who the fuck does "heaven" think they are? Throughout the entire show they were behaving like a bunch of pathetic and spoiled geezers who don't care for anything but their own agenda. Can they call themselves Heaven at all? They should have been renamed to Hell or something else. No wonder I had to use quotation marks every time I mentioned them. I literally hated them to the very end along with that elder Soo Bo Ri. Toying with everyone and they call themselves deities while the rest of them are demons. Who was actually who here I wonder. Ah all the frustrations I got from them. I don't even have the will to write about Jin Seon Mi. Miserable from her birth to the very end. Alone with all the evil around her and even her own guardian ended up tricking her. Falling in love with the only person who unwillingly gave her a hand and the poor thing wasn't even sure till the end if she was even loved scared not even of her death but if his love is real. How much she was desperate only she know. I really hope our monkey finds her in the netherworld. But why is she there? That's hell. Mistranslation I do hope so if not the "heavens" are the purest evil of them all. So I am asking again who ended up happy? Sa Oh Jung whose hyung left him to search for Sam Jang. Jonathan who was denied of his love for her. Maybe Lee Han Joo? Well he did got real estate agency but how the heck is he gonna run that place without any supernatural abilities? Well at least he will cry happily at his daughter's weddings. Anyone happy? Yes, our secretary Ma Ji Yeong. Our or better say Ma Wang's loyal dog who will even sit down when told waging her tail like a happy dog. No wonder the saying goes that the dog is man's best friend but I think that this one wants to be more than a friend or am I just mistaking it for a deep admiration towards her master. Who knows. Whoever is a fool enough to read this till the end please do tell what you think about this last part. At least we have one happy person and I managed to lessen my frustration by writing this. Was this worth the watch? Well it's a yes for me. I rarely want a 2nd season and this looks like a good semi-open ending but I really do wish for our monkey to pay that "heaven" some debt back for Sam Jang because she is too good to hold a grudge.

Can you spoil that "something" for me? Terminal illness is a no-fly zone for me anyway.
You left me with no words. How can people even make this. I am sad just from reading this.

Quality doesn't have anything to do with taste. I like watching this kind of trash but that doesn't mean I'll give it an 8-10 if I like it but I guess in the end majority of the people don't know how to separate those two.

This drama just skyrocketed itself on t0p5 on my list. I feel so mad at myself for letting it collect the dust on bookmarks for so many months. I don't even know where to start to explain. Such a good written characters and you can literally see how crazy they are at every corner lol... Acting, story, OST... left me sad cuz I there is no more to watch.

She isn't selfish she just doesn't want her daughter to end up like her and like everyone else she has prejudice when it comes to mental illnesses which can explain her irrational fear and lack of faith in her daughter.

Why does all the Chinese drama look like a trash to me? Oh wait this one is from Taiwan. Well same sh*t but different…
Oh and I see some "racist" comments from snowflakes below. They were filming a clip for their new soap and let me tell this. You are gonna die laughing at that scene because it was hilarious and it was meant to be funny. Just because you see everything as racist it doesn't mean that it was actually meant to be.

Title Refresh Man
Why does all the Chinese drama look like a trash to me? Oh wait this one is from Taiwan. Well same sh*t but different name + democracy, good for them. Anyway I don't have to listen to "everything for PRC" propaganda here at least. So again why does everything look like a complete trash to me? Is it acting, story, background or the whole scenario? They are trying so hard to make it serious but I cant' stop the cringe at how predictable it is. I don't know if it's me or what but i guessed everything to the details at the end. Only Aisha managed to shake me at one scene but even that didn't work for me. It was like I already watched the whole show in past life or something. They are some things that they managed to dodge like FL's best friend (short hair chick) which is such a typical and generic character that it can't get worse. Luckily she had almost zero minutes or she would be another friend with a terrible advice who ruins ML's chances with FL to the biblical proportions. Whoever put her away was the smartest person in the whole production. Thanks to that I enjoyed endless CUTE^^^ bickering between our leads. Yes they were so cute together that this was the only reason why this drama is even worth your time...

It's He Qianying!! It took me absolutely ages to find her name and it took a lot of digging. It's the translation…
OOOooo THANK YOU! You are my mvp for today.
Now I just need to learn a bit of this alien language... Требаће ми сто година за то.

I am in a dilemma. Not sure if I should say nice words about this show or trash talk about it. Why you ask? Well because this is like watching 2 completely different shows. First half is dark thriller/drama mystery and the second half is light comedy and romance with explanation of loose ends but again not all of them were explained so if you get hooked for the first couple of episodes because of an awesome ML you can expect heavy disappointment on later episodes but if you manage to pass middle transition you are gonna die laughing at "5 rangers" and their little "talks". Who are they you ask? Well you are gonna have to get to the end to figure that out. Is this worth watching? This is like eating salty trash food and finishing it with sweet (trash) food, so no it isn't worth your time because if you came for the first couple of episodes and liked it you are not gonna like the later and if you came of the later you are gonna drop after the few episode because of non existent FL.

The FL was written rather poorly for the first couple of episodes. I almost dropped it multiple times but once…
But on the other side ML was written GOD tier level.

Title Cry Me a Sad River Spoiler
im a little confused did yi yao die in the end or did she just leave?
She died and left a memory and a lesson that will never be forgotten.
Funny how both of your answers are in some way correct and I am guessing that's what the author wanted you to think. She did left for a better place in the end. She deserved that better place after all the things they have done to her.
