First off I'm sorry for the extremely biased review. I can't help but let my guard down at Seon Ho's beautiful smile ☺😊🤗
Half the time I was just smiling like a fool watching Seon Ho being gorgeous, charming, graceful & bewitching. His voice, the smallest of gestures & micro expressions are just WOW. This role was customized for him 😇
The cinematography is good, in fact the location itself is aesthetic & pleasant. Needless to say our leads are ah-mazing in their roles & have great chemistry. The villagers seem nice & natural. It has a vibe similar to "When the Camellia Blooms "
I'm eager to see their romance bloom ❣❣After a long time I want to just sit back, relax & enjoy a light hearted rom-com ^^
Yes indeed! the fact this drama, supposed to show reality of toxic relationship.. ended up glorifying it. I mean…
Exactly. If Nabi either got destroyed or reset everything to start afresh (like her sculpture) the ending would've been refreshing, original & meaningful. Instead they took the classic K drama cliché route for commercial acclaim.
Watched this for Lee Sang Woo/Han Ji Hye pairing but end up falling in love with Kim Kwon's role and his superb…
I just watched Ep 1 but I already love Kim Kwon's character. I remember watching him in "He is Psychometric". In that drama he looked like G-Dragon's twin 😂
If this drama is trying to romanticize PJE, I can't help but sigh & smirk. Please don't let the childhood cliché pop up. PJE doesn't need any sympathy. He's a result of his own choices not of his circumstances alone.
Yes, Nabi and Jae Eon had chemistry, but what's the point if it's not sincere. The minute Jae Eon told Nabi they…
Exactly. He kept tabs on too many people & as a result none of them felt any sincerity from him. Love is always all or none, you can't love 10 different people in a mild/ moderate way. How can you even try to measure it? He's still trying to read her thoughts, leave traces of himself (bracelet) & manipulate Do Hyuk. He's a big NO.
A beautiful drama. Underrated gem. One of the best family, rom-com dramas in the 50+ eps range. Raw emotions, soild plot, great acting, soulful OST (I can still hear the moving flute sound), meaningful dialogues, well done character growth arcs & well developed relationships. It's worth watching & re-watching.
Ep 27 was epic. Especially around the 30 min mark. #Hate/Love is my most favorite tag ❣ It's much better than expected. I'm extremely picky about dramas over 50+ eps as I can't complete watching them but this one shouldn't be missed.
Can I ask if ha neul is the killer ? He seems suspicious
•The black cat at the site of Chae Jun's suicide & the one which scratched Ha Neul seem to be the same.
•They say that a murderer always re-visits the crime site & in ep 2 we see Ha Neul staring at the third floor.
•The 10th ep ending shows a doctor looking suspicious & as JYD is the ML & this drama is tagged as romance & healing he doesn't seem to be the one. So Ha Neul is the next suspect.
But I sincerely hope that he's not. 365: RTY was shocking enough. I don't want this drama to be cold 🙁
I think this drama would be much greater than it already is, if the side character's get little screen time and…
True. The drama Start Up was disappointing for the same reason. The 2nd female lead's story was not shown & her screen time was comparable to a cameo. I hope Yoon Park & Nam Gyu Ri's roles are not reduced to supporting roles from main roles.
And as you said the side characters, instead of having their own stories are just acting as catalysts for main leads relationship. So their screen time is losing significance.
Can I ask if ha neul is the killer ? He seems suspicious
Same here. He's too shady but as of now they didn't reveal the killer. There was a theory that he might be gay & killed that police officer for MLs heart surgery but it doesn't explain the other murders.
Every ep starts with a cozy & calm vibe, then funny scenes pop up but the ending is always cold, surprising & sad. Are they trying to portray the flow & mood of "Spring" season?
I really want a narrative from Ian Chase's point of view. His character needs more screen time for proper development.
All the supporting characters were good & their roles help to tone down the tension of this show & bring it closer to reality.
Da Jung & her brother changing their clothes from dark to bright tones was symbolic & they finally confessed their inner traumas (though not completely) to each other.
Next ep would be mostly about JYD facing his fears & overcoming them. So this week is #healing time. The next week will be full on thriller mode I guess (& hope).
The potato isn't organic guys. My 1st impression on him & my current impression are far apart. Both the MLs are selfish to the bone. They don't respect her feelings or give her any space/time. They intrude her privacy, stir her emotions & demand her attention. WTH is going on? None of them have any clarity on their own feelings but they want the other person to be sure about theirs. 😤
Can Nabi stop being a YES-man & learn to say NO? She rejected that artist but she can't let go of either of the MLs as both +combined+ have the qualities of her "ideal man". This ain't gonna have a pretty ending.
At this point I only want to root for the live-in relationship couple. They're adorably awkward & affectionate towards each other 😊 Sol & Ji Wan's story is good but if Ji Wan doesn't change her immature & clumsy attitude, I'd rather wish for Sol to end up with someone who truly deserves her. Sol is the only character that I love in this show ❤
Well, this is the whole point of this drama...she is insecure and has several problems but she still does not…
I get your point 😂 I really liked this drama & the plot is quite realistic too. I was talking about such relationships in general. No one deserves to be in a toxic relationship so I'm against Nabi's aunt's advice. Even the actor Kim Min Gwi himself got edited out of this drama for being like Jae Eon in real life. I just hope that all the leads find what's best for them at the end.
Even if this drama ends with a toxic relationship, I'd still like it for its originality.
The kiss was just *chef's kiss* 🤌 ❣ From Young Do's hair being swayed by the wind to Da Jung parting it with her fingers, the screen transitions in rhis drama deserve a special mention. The editing is bang on👍{ I'm still trying to figure out the meaning behind the half way separated screens. Like the one in which they clean the broken dish. }
The siblings relationship was adorable & funny. Many sweet moments in this ep 😊 Seo Hyun Jin's acting in that confession scene was stellar ☺ I'm already a fan but I was blown away. The late night snacks conversation on the rooftop was thoughtful & moving. It's a very practical advice. I need to change the meaning of my lollipops too 🍭
I'm still suspicious about Ha Neul & think that there's more to him than what's shown but I'm super curious about Da Jung's dad. He's going to return but why? Is he Mr Hong? That homeless person is being pointed as the villain & he seems to be from the church. Dr Chase is trying to lead a normal life by trying to let go of his past but it somehow irks that homeless man. Why? Cuz he got fooled by an 18 yr old? Hmm...I don't know how to end this but ... "끝"

The chemistry ❣🤗 They were amazing in the trailers. Can't wait for this drama. I'm gonna love this one !!!

Kid's voice: "Just throw away your stupid opinion" 🤫🤐
🤣😂 Attaboy !! He's driving the ship.
