Kim Seon Ho being mentioned in other shows. https://youtu.be/fl1lHNoVtgo Lee Sang Yi was the guest in "The Six Sense" last week & I loved him there β₯
I think the answer to the 1st Mystery of Gongjin may be something like this:
The divorced couple didn't marry out of love but out of responsibility. They might have committed an unintended mistake which led to the baby & consequently marriage. But staying together without having genuine feelings for each other might have been hard & they decided to separate their ways peacefully while agreeing to parent the child together. In this process the wife actually loved him or liked him from the beginning.
The way she reacted to the ML & FLs scandal was somehow seemingly personal & it raised my suspicion that she might have faced a similar situation in the past.
I wish that the husband realizes his love for her too & they make a happy family again. The birthday scene was too adorable β€
This week "Big Summer Song Party Special" was so much fun. Seon Ho & Ravi ought to get the best couple award π€β€ Jong Min is effortlessly funny & so adorable π Love the "Traitor" Trio π The members have amazing chemistry & the eps are very entertaining these days. YB vs OB, the water sports, "1st psychological warfare" in 2D1N S4, the new MC π€ & the sleeping location games this week were refreshing & hilarious π€£π
"Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" + "2D1N" = Can't wait for the weekends now βΊπ€
Hong Doo Shik is unrealistically raising our standards. Where can we find a gem of a person like him? It's not possible but wait Kim Seon Ho is real. O M G, I'm done. I'll just wait for the next ep. I swear that I've never been a stan of any actor before & I don't think that I'll be in the future. Kim Seon Ho is the only exception. He just seems to be too good to be real & I can't help but like him π€
HDS putting many different hats is not an issue. Even now, in smaller towns there are many people doing double/triple…
Agreed. If he happens to have a family, I think people would automatically increase his wage & also take care of his family as their own. He already has a house & gets a government salary, so obviously he gets all the benefits that a govt. employee can get.
Hence his family can lead a comfortable life at least with in that village. Outside that village he'll be paid fairly so that works well too.
In Ep 2 we see Hong Doo Shik read a book over the rocks which is titled "Walden" by Henry David Thoreau.
In this book the author feels that rather than having the desire to live a life with a goal of acquisition of wealth, the goal of life is "the exploration of the mind and the magnificent world around people."
This gives us an insight into Doo Shik's thoughts. Though he could be very successful (according to social standards) using his extremely gifted skill set, he choose a different way of life using the same skill set. In both the scenarios he is resourceful but in the 2nd one he seems to be on the losing end. But his priority is people not money. So is he really on the losing end? No, nope, not at all.
But how many of us can dare to make such a choice in our lives without confirming to societal expectations?
