Exactly, now all those law books in WYW's house too make sense.
I totally forget that everytime as her father doesn't work in that field/ even advice his friends regarding legal issues. Law was their bonding point during FL's childhood so I'm curious as to why he left the field. Was it to take care of the FL/ is it related to FL's mom...
I want to drop this drama because at this point I'm not invested in any of the characters. Even if they show that the bad guys end up in a way that they deserve, it fails to serve any purpose as firstly, it's not realistic & secondly, it is not entertaining to watch (primarily due to the misplaced love line). The romantic scenes feel repetitive & uneasy/ unnatural. The writing is disappointing as it has nothing new to offer. Every law themed drama has a similar setting: an haphazardly solved cold case involving the leads, powerful villains, righteousness & unrighteousness lawyers, victims uniting against the bad guys, a team of good guys & a love triangle. But the writing makes a lot of difference, like either the court scenes are intimidatingly good (Suits, Law School)/ the thriller part is highlighted (Innocent Defendant)/ the revenge part (Lawless Lawyer)/ the fantasy part (I hear your voice/ While you were sleeping), etc. Something which can make it stand out. Why Her? has an excellent FL character with a painful past & ambitious future. Her strategies, growth & struggle to stand on the pinnacle of the law world is something that I want to watch but it took a u-turn to become the standard makjang k-drama where romance takes the front stage.
Well, we learned some new history today, but the overall story didn't move forward much. I want to know when the…
I’m also curious about what the Queen is doing with the soul ejectors (as at this point it is pretty clear that she is deeply involved with Jin Mu & might be the one possessing the ice stone).
The Crown Prince is adorable 🥰 He calls Jang Uk as Jin Uk, lol. The plot is getting thicker & I’m loving the twists, character development & dialogues. Very well written, directed & acted. Already (slightly) disappointed that I’ve to wait for another week after tomorrow’s ep 😭
Now that we know that Jin Mu actually works for the Queen, I wonder if the Crown Prince has a birth secret and…
This makes a lot of sense especially Jin Mu’s unwarranted affection towards the CP & his desire to kill Uk. I’m really curious about what exactly is the gift that Jin Mu sends to the Queen & why does he go to the extent of using a soul shifter to deliver it.
And at this point it is pretty clear who Mu Deok is but the Jin family doesn’t seem to recognise her, so it may be possible that the soul of the elder daughter of the Jin family is also in Mu Deok’s body along with Naksu’s soul. That explains: # the 2 blue marks in Mu Deok’s eyes indicating 2 souls/ 2 soul shifting events # the dream sequence in Ep 5 where ‘Naksu in Mu Deok’s body’ meets a ‘blind folded Mu Deok’ # Naksu not recalling watching Uk & Mr. Lee fight despite being awake
Anyway watching the chemistry b/w the Crown Prince & Mu Deok it seems likely that the fight b/w him & Uk won’t just be about the Gwanju position or honour but about Mu Deok too ^^
It may be possible that Naksu’s dad wasn’t the one in his body when he was killed. The maid warns Naksu to avoid her dad, who eventually kills the maid and is then killed by Park Jin. This sequence of events point out to some backstory that Naksu wasn’t aware of. She doesn’t know her real enemies yet.
Lee Jae Wook as Jang Uk is beyond impressive. Totally love his character & the dynamic b/w him & Mu Deok. The Crown Prince is adorable too, he doesn’t seem evil in the slightest (though he may behave like a spoilt rich kid). Love the premise, plot development, cinematography & actors. If this drama maintains the same quality, it would be a dream come true in the fantasy genre ✨🌈✨
This drama was fun initially and the chemistry between the leads clicked instantly but now it has become repetitive…
😆 I think he's just renting out the place to practice cooking (or just give him an excuse to stay) while searching for his sister. He's definitely not desperate to open the restaurant for business purposes.
Omo, that poor girl and her sister, I hope that stalker freak gets what's coming for him
Same here & I'm so glad that she is isn't that stalker's sister. That stalker may have something do with the ML's sister's disappearance too considering his warning to the ML & the hints about a childhood connection. Can't believe that he could do something evil at that age but he might have had an accomplice.
And do all those gifts that he sent for the FL come from all the girls that he harmed or get involved with in the past? It's creepy but the small doll somehow gives chills (thinking about ML's sister). I hope that his sister is alive & it might be possible as ML's mother claimed that she saw her daughter
OMG, the plot twist in Ep 8 is one of the best executed one in recent times. Loved it ❣️❣️❣️ Great acting, screenplay, OST & cinematography, can't find any reason why this drama won't be one of the best this year.
I'm utterly impressed by Yeo Jin Goo. All his dramas have an exceptional plot & he experiments with different genres only ace them all. I'm definitely going to watch all his dramas & I'm eagerly waiting for his next project.
I'm in love with the pace of this drama. Just the right amount of tension, not giving away too much but gradually & consistency putting the pieces of the puzzle together, making us awe in amazement as we look back & connect the dots. It literally nails all the genres (rom-com, fantasy, mystery/crime thriller) without any one flavor overwhelming the other. So... Bon appétit 🍰
This show is sooooo good, but the romance between OSJ and GC does feel very displaced + they really don't have…
I felt the same. If YSP’s character was the ML, the story would’ve been a bit different but I’m invested in that. The law school students could’ve remembered OSJ as their first love, lol.
I think it was Ji Won Tak who killed the ML's sister and then blamed it on his dad, who was arrested.
OMG, that would be an unbelievable twist but it could make sense as to why the dad doesn't open his mouth on the matter or why he's opposed to the ML's re-entry.
why do you think Gye Hyoon and Da Hyun break-up?As we all know it's that time of the year when kdramas with Romance…
That might not be the case as the FL felt connected to the ML in their childhood too. I wish & hope that the ML's sister is still alive as it somehow doesn't feel like she was murdered. *fingers crossed*
