If I were to guess, it’s either to gain some power (either for himself or for his master) that he can only obtain by finding such a couple dynamic who genuinely love each other, or… he is like Tian Yao’s ex, he is doing this in order to save someone he loves.

I knew him from watching “Cambrian Period” and then recognized him in “A Girl Like Me.” Now I’m also watching BFTB because of him and Zhou Ye.

I like the actor though, he’s cute. I’m curious about his character arc, kinda want to see him genuinely fall in love with someone so he can stop worrying about other people’s love life and focus on his own.

Ok waiting for episode 8 now. The new character, Bai Xiao Sheng, reminds me of a toxic cp fan lol. 😂

I started following him after watching Love better than Immortality. Then I also watched prodigy healer right after. He’s not only cute and such a jokester, but he really becomes the character he’s playing. I rarely feel like he’s “acting” or playing someone else when watching his dramas, he becomes that person. And then I officially became his fan after watching Blood of Youth! I also want to see him in some thriller or crime dramas. I wanna see him play the main bad guy someday, maybe a serial killer.

I love the dynamics between Mo Bu Fan and Yun Xiang and between Mo Bu Fan and Kang Qiao. I think Mo and Kang are my favorite supporting characters so far.

This drama is so addicting! It's been quite some time since I last watched a drama where I didn't want to skip any scenes, even those scenes of small supporting characters.

Yup that's true. I really like the cast though, both main and supporting, so if it is true, it'll be a great surprise.

If the supporting cast was true, which I highly doubt, but let’s just say if it were true, then this drama will be amazing! I mean if Liu yuning is fine being a supporting character, hey that really says something, doesn’t it?

Li Hongyi is not new in the industry though. He started acting at 16 years old back in 2014. So when discussing the idea of him working with more “experienced” actors, they better be actually more experienced and/or have won some significant awards, like Zhang Yi (just an example) for it to help him grow. Wulin Heroes was filmed back in 2020, and he received more attention because of his more recent drama, Blood of Youth, where he gained a lot of fans (including me.) Not sure why you would think him acting as a younger version of Cheng Yi or even a cameo will benefit him in any way when he has proven that he can be the main lead and already do very well.

What how is this guy turning 37 this year? Like how?? He looks so young! I know there are actors 10 years younger than him but look older… And no it’s not that this photo is old, he literally looks young in his recent dramas too…

Tbh this is my favourite song of his so far, it gives me motivation when I feel like giving up.

Regarding LBTI, on various chinese media platforms like Baidu, LHY is first billed, appearing before ZLS, so he is for sure the one and only male lead. I think the reason he has less screen time may be because he doesn’t have any sponsors and his management team (which is just 4 people) is not professional enough so they cannot protect their artist, LHY from getting the short end of the stick. But strangely enough, with his little screen time, I fell in love with his Qiu Yue gege and I actually googled for this actor’s name, something that I rarely do. So now I don’t mind how much screen time he has or even if he is the ML, I will watch at least a few episodes of all his upcoming dramas.

Umm they’re not related and don’t look alike though. And Li Hongyi won’t be in a supporting role if he does decide to act in this drama.

Agree! I liked MXT since watching Princess Weiyang. And her acting in modern dramas is good too, like The Bond and Nothing But Thirty.
