Song Zu Er looks way too pretty in this drama! The trailer is amazing too! After SOKP, this is the other drama I have been highly looking forward to. Pray to the heavens that if SOKP managed to air, this drama could air too!

I think a vast majority of chinese people are atheist, so definitely not for religious reasons. Another reason official news sources gave was because of the historical inaccuracies in historical time travel dramas. They thought the audience would be confused and learn the wrong historical facts by watching time travel dramas. Imo again, this is a bs excuse for a million reasons. XD

Government policy… similar to why BL is banned in China too. I think he is a merchant and a scholar. I remember his first appearance showed that he was annoyed when others called him “the perpetual runner up.” He could only be second best because XW was first lol. Not sure how they became friends though.
